Awesome Hotel!
It was my first time going to this hotel and it was just myself and my parents.when we first arrived at the hotel they sent us to this lady which tryed to get us a timeshare we ended up falling for it(we didnt buy it), it took up most of an entire day but because of it they gave us free stuff which was the only great thing. The hotel room is really clean we updated to a Ocean view which is definatly worth it! we were on the first floor which was surprisingly quiet and you can literally walk straight onto the beach from the patio. We got the One bedrom with a sofa bed suite, which was surprisingly big the masters had its own bathroom, and i had my own aswell. It also came with a kitchen which we didnt use, but it would have been alot more convenient as we probably would have saved money doing so. Restaurants in the hotel are okay not to good and pricey, but the pizza at the bar is wonderful! You can take a tran to the hotels next to you if you go to the villa del arco hotel make sure you eat at the bar thats over the pool and shaped like a ship, food is wonderful!! I recommend this place for anyone definatly will be coming back next summer! By the way be careful when you arrive at the airport there is hundreds of men in suits trying to get you to buy timeshares, kindly say no and walk away!

Great Vacation
we loved the hotel, although we didnt figure out a lot of things until the last days. there is a walmart close by which u can take the city bus(white buses with places it goes written on the window) easily, but getting bak to the hotel on the bus is not easy, u really have to remember that it is just like a regular city bus. u can also take a green bus (which goes on the freeway) to Chileno beach and Santa Maria beach. getting pecos is a good idea also. i would greatly suggest u take the zipline tour with cabo adventures, but dont purchase anything ahead of time because the time share people will give u great discount on activities if u dont mind wasting a few hours in the morning. the only down side is the time share people hounding u e v e r y w h e r e you go! all in all we will definately go bak to cabo in the future!

Fun Time in Cabo
Watch out for the timeshare sharks, they did not leave us alone. We finally gave in on day 5 of 8 after several calls, handwritten notes and stalking. Once we went to the presentation, after 3 hours, when being promised that it would only be 1 1/2 hours, the sales person made me cry after asking "how do you know you will be alive in 8 years" after my hubby said we would think about the timeshare after retirement AND said if we couldn't afford a timeshare then why didn't we use the money we paid for vacation on bills. Watch out people, just say no. Also felt the staff treated the owners nicer then the visitors. Very clean room and nice location but would not stay here again due to TS issues.

Another GREAT experience.....
This location, as always is worth EVERY penny! You get the best of everything and a VERY reasonable rate. Food is excellent, service is excellent. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

Mom/daughter reunion
I was so looking forward to spending a week with my daughter after not seeing her for a year. I was very disappointed in the hotel, staff was rude, our room had mold and we asked to move to another room (12:30 a.m.) and an item was overlooked in the room and was not returned to me. My room key didn't work most of the time.

Fun in cabo
Hotel villa del palmar was a fun place with great value. The hotel was very well keeped & the staff were very helpful & friendly. The hotel pool had a super fun slide & there were plenty of lounge chairs to tan & relax. Warning! be aware of the time share people especially "paty", she was very rude & pushy.. I recomend the local street taco shops & mocambo sea food restaurant :-). Also, the cabo escape boat is a must, bcuz its free alcohol, food & snorkeling:-). Dont forget to visit cabo wabo!
