Crisp lines, striking sun-shaped mirrors and two-tone wood furniture capture a modern feel in Villa Del Palmar Beach Resort & Spa Los Cabos. Plum-colored coverlets and throw pillows contrast well with plush white comforters, while espresso-trimmed cabinets pair with blond wood drawers. A collection of 460 suites accommodates groups of multiple sizes with welcome extras like sofa beds, entertainment centers, breakfast bars and patios or terraces overlooking the water.Dining
Traditional Mexican dishes mingle with Italian fare at Las Tortugas, whose themed buffets, folk dancing and casino nights add to the ambiance. For grab-and-go meals at Villa Del Palmar Beach Resort & Spa Los Cabos, Palmita Deli and Palmita market provide fuel in the form of sandwiches, salads and pizza.Recreation
Lush palm trees dot the Villa Del Palmar Beach Resort & Spa Los Cabos grounds near the expansive outdoor pool, whose showpiece is Willy the Whale, a giant water slide that has been completely refinished with litmus stones. A family oriented resort with lots of options
This resort had a lot of options for young family's. There were multipule pools for both adults and children. The resort staff had programs throughout the week for everyone's involvment. The one bedroom unit that we rented was large and comfortable. There were two full baths, a studio sized kitchen and suitable storage area throughout the unit. The staff was resourceful and friendly. I would recommend this resort to other people looking to vacation in Cabo San Lucas. The location is within 15 - 20 minutes walking distance, 7 - 10 minutes by street taxi and 12 - 20 minutes by water taxi to/from downtown Cabo. With a variety of stores and eating locations both on hotel property and in downtown Cabo, options are endless.

Great location but expensive dining
For the price we got, the hotel was totally worth it as far as cleanliness and location. However, the on-site restaurants and bars are too expensive for what you get in return. We chose to eat our meals in town for better deals and food. However, the grocery store in the hotel complex was great for buying beach supplies (bottles of water, sandwich meat, snacks). The pools are very family oriented and can be crowded in the middle of the day. We spent our time mostly on the beach and even visited other hotel pools. If you're on a budget but still want some resort luxury, it's a great place to stay.

Great location, poor housekeeping department and not very friendly staff
The room, bed, view was great BUT I had to ask for housekeeping 2 out of the 4 days we were there. The staff wasn't exactly friendly. They appeared to have a chip on their shoulder. I felt like they expected something out of me and they were basically rude. The sales staff was friendly BUT the housekeeping, front desk and the bar staff WAS NOT very friendly or accomodating

Great hotel
Villa del Palmar hotel was great. The room facing the garden is quieter than that facing the pool. Also from our balcony (facing the garden) we had seen great sunsets. The service is great, the location is perfect, the ocean was slightly warmer than the pacific beaches at Monterey Peninsula.

Absolutly Gorgous
The Villa del Plamar was a beautiful resort. The rooms were much larger that expected and had a kitchen. The pool was fabulous. The resort is located right on the beach and with in walking distace to downtown Cabo. I would both recommend this property to others but would visit again.

Very family friendly
The hotel was very comfortable, kids friendly & offerred so many variety of activities that kept your stay really busy but relaxed. Hotel by the beach was a plus as we could shift gears from the pool to beach anytime & back on the hot jacuzzi. Really close to downtown & the water sports activity was also a great plus. My 3 yr old had a blast as much as we adults did. Service was good, staff very very friendly & spoke great english. For the room rental, I think the hotel can add coffee service as a courtsey rather than charging for every thing offerred in the room. I'd recomend this hotel anyone in a heart beat.

1 of 3 Properties & All-Inclusive
One thing we really liked was that when you do the all-inclusive, you could eat at all the restaurants at the 3 different properties. The Villa Group has 3 hotels which are next door to each other and there is a trolley that takes you back and forth if you don't want to walk along the beach to go between. Keep in mind that all-inclusive are rarely truly all-inclusive and this one was no exception. A lot was taken care of but things with lobster and shrimp were not included. Menus usually annotated what was not included in the all-inclusive. Overall, we felt it was worth the price of all-inclusive to eat and drink almost unlimited.

Gold Card & Time Share
Overall this was a very nice hotel, and I had a good time on the trip and at this hotel. The staff was nice and helpful. My only issue was with the constant attempt to get you to get their Gold Card and do their Time Share presentation. One time I was told by the concierge that they couldn't help me, that I had to talk with someone else because I wasn't a Gold Card member. The town of San Lucas and the beach are other places where you are constantly bombarded with requests to buy time shares or other items. It would have been nice if the hotel was an oasis away from this barrage.
