Los Cabos hotel shines with free-form pools and private beachside bliss
Pueblo Bonito Rose pours on tropical luxury in every corner, from the illuminated, palm-tree lined outdoor pools to the private, furnished balconies overlooking El Medano Beach. The scenery steals the show, especially in the grand lobby, where 350-year-old Flemish tapestries build the drama of being on vacation. Multiple restaurants, a busy activities roster and full-service spa prove that yes indeed, it is time to relax.
Highlights
  • Large free-form pool that leads to El Medano Beach
  • Find 260 suites overlooking the ocean or garden
  • Free shuttle to and from Pueblo Bonito Sunset, a sister hotel
  • Full-service spa and beauty salon
  • Multiple restaurants and private candlelit dinners on the beach
Rooms
Pueblo Bonito Rose rooms conjure casual oceanfront style with wicker furniture, warm bedding and tropical plants. Guests choose from junior suites or luxury suites equipped with kitchenettes. Finally, at Fellini's Ristorante, patrons savor thin-crust pizzas, fresh pasta and juicy meats in an upscale casual setting.
Recreation

Majestic palm trees create a stunning canopy by the large outdoor pools that seem to snake into the Pacific Ocean. There, visitors soak up rays on poolside loungers or take in the sparkling lights illuminating the white hotel buildings at night.

Love this place!!!!

It just so close to everything and it's easy and very accomodating if you don't feel like going anywhere. They deli has everything you would need. The only downfall is the food at the restaurants at the Rose are not very good. The food is pretty much tasteless.

Spectacular pool and sea views

This vacation was the most spectacular in every way. All junior suites face the large, gorgeous pool, as well as the sea which has views of the rolling hills, magnificent oceanliners, and superb water sports. You must get up by at least 7am. to get your towel to place on your lounge chair to save you a great pool/beach spot for the day. The beach is very active with the vendors selling their wares. The hotel Sunday Brunch held outside under umbrellas for $30 pp is well worth it. Make sure you eat at the next door beach restaurants by day or night. The Office makes fresh coffee by 5:30 am and has unbelievable dinners($20 and up) with beautiful waterviews. All tables are set on the sand. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk to the town, mall, clubs, and marina with their lovely, but pricey restaurants. Happy hour is all over the place. It was the best trip by far. I even bought a timeshare at their sister hotel, Sunset Beach (10 minute shuttle from PB Rose), executive suite with jacuzzi!

A box of cereal costs $7-$10 and a quart of milk is $4!! If you like to use the kitchen facilities in your room, go to Walmart by cab to stock up for the week.

Highly Recommend This Place!!

Twice a year we take a family trip and Pueblo Bonito Rose was the best trip so far. The resort is SUPER clean. The entire staff was attentive and polite. The restaurants/food was great. The lobby had a pleasant lavender scent that filled the air. The entire staff will greet you with "Ola", We loved Pueblo Bonito Rose. If you are a picky traveler as we are I know you will love it there too. I can't say enough about the place. You have to visit. You won't be disappointed!! We will definitely be going back soon.

Great Family Vacation for us!

We were three separate families, with three separate rooms, yet we were given rooms on the same floor almost next to each other which was perfect! Kitchen facilities were a plus, patios are also just right!!! . Would stay there again !

relaxing

This was a great relaxing hotel. But you're still in with all the action which I thought to be the best of both worlds. A lot of families with small children, but not enough to be annoying. We really enjoyed our time there. I will return for sure.

great beach hotel

Excellent hotel. No complaints other than the issue with them trying to sell time shares. I suspect this is a common problem in Cabo, however.

Great Place overall

The Beach is nice and swimable. The beds are double, which were smaller than I am used to but they were comfortable. The staff is helpful and friendly and the location is a short cab ride to the main downtown area of Cabo.

The night clubs are a long walk (about a 1/2 mile) Depending how you are dressed etc... you can take a reasonable cab ride anywhere downtown cabo from the PBR.
