Awesome hotel

Pueblo Bonito Rose was situated on Medano Beach, but you can't see the arch from the hotel. Short walk to the marina and mall (for souveniers and underwater cameras, etc) about 10-15 minutes. We did a time share presentation at Playa Grande and received half off for all our excursions. (This is only beneficial if you are staying there for about a week or more. It's also incredibly gorgeous) Staff is friendly and most would say hola when they pass you. Reason why I didn't give it four stars is because the hotel charges 15 dollars per person if you use the gym and 10 dollars per hour for its tennis courts. =( first hotel i've been at that actually charges to use the gym.

Great vacation

Great location, walking distance into town. A couple of down falls are 1)the time share sales, at least several times during the week we were approached to take a time share presentation,2)also the vendors that are on the beach (it takes a little getting used to) The service at the hotel was exceptional. Cabo was awesome, really enjoyed it, would love to go back.

Good Location

Great location, great beach condition and water, impeccable service, PB hotel ambiance, best on Medano Beach. Variety of activities at hotel or on beach. Fun nightlife. Tequila bar was a great place for Salsa dancing with live music open-air and range of gentry. Most people there not drunkards, otherwise they couldn't dance. Timeshare vendors and peddlers everywhere, but polite and respectful, if not funny at times, just to get your attention.

Money-saving tip: Not Applicable

Use the microbusses and local transport. You can go to and from Apt for 3 dollars instead of 20. Stay close to downtown, so you can walk around to restautants or activities. Buy groceries where locals go. Take the bus to Soriana or City Center. You just pay 2 bucks to get in and you can get local proces for suntan lotion and groceries beachware, etc.Use bank ATMS.. Stay away from the ATMs on beachfornt which have 5 dollar service charges. Mexico is a great place for a vacation. No locals or fellow tourists allowed to hassle other tourists. Police, security and local proprieters appear vigilant over tourists. I saw two very drunk people passed-out on street, picked up and carried on lounge chairs to their hotel lobby in the back of a truck a couple of blocks. Hotel concierge took it from there.

Spectacular pool and sea views

This vacation was the most spectacular in every way. All junior suites face the large, gorgeous pool, as well as the sea which has views of the rolling hills, magnificent oceanliners, and superb water sports. You must get up by at least 7am. to get your towel to place on your lounge chair to save you a great pool/beach spot for the day. The beach is very active with the vendors selling their wares. The hotel Sunday Brunch held outside under umbrellas for $30 pp is well worth it. Make sure you eat at the next door beach restaurants by day or night. The Office makes fresh coffee by 5:30 am and has unbelievable dinners($20 and up) with beautiful waterviews. All tables are set on the sand. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk to the town, mall, clubs, and marina with their lovely, but pricey restaurants. Happy hour is all over the place. It was the best trip by far. I even bought a timeshare at their sister hotel, Sunset Beach (10 minute shuttle from PB Rose), executive suite with jacuzzi!

A box of cereal costs $7-$10 and a quart of milk is $4!! If you like to use the kitchen facilities in your room, go to Walmart by cab to stock up for the week.

Great for families

Great place to go with family but would recommend Sunset beach for couples. The pool is fantastic and the beachfront area was nice. The all inclusive package was great and includes Mare Nostrum restaurant, poolside snacks, drinks, and room service from 7am-2am. Staff was friendly and the rooms are super clean. The only problem I had with this resort is that the beds are twin sized with no larger options.

good location

The hotel is nice and well maintained. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food is bland and all the prices are outrageous. There is a little place called Tabasco's next to the resort that has good food at reasonable prices.

Cabo is Fantastic, Loved the Rose'

I had read all of the good and bad comments about the Pueblo Bonito Rose prior to going to Cabo. I just don't understand the bad comments. The Rose' is a beautiful facility in a beautiful location. Within walking distance of downtown Cabo without ANY of the craziness and noise. We had a super relaxing, fun-filled vacation. Also loved the ability to take the free shuttle to the Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach. Another amazing facility. This was our first trip, but definitely not our last trip to Cabo! What a beautiful place to be in February!!!!!!

Ist Time...

This was our first time to Cabo San Lucas,I have to say I was quite shocked at how many peddlers were on the beach. Overall the Resort was beautiful,a little older and worn. We did avoid all the Time Share talks, due to the fact, after you check in,dont use the "free drink" voucher, that way they dont get to talk to you!!!!! The air conditioner in the room was loud, otherwise I feel like it was clean and comfortable, the grounds are beautiful and service was good....

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

From where we stayed. their are several beach front restaurants within walking distance, our favorite was The Office,,,most of them have the same food overall, the resort lunches were great and drinks good....I wasnt crazy over Tobascos. the shopping was too complicated to find, and not good shopping at all....Bus transportation I wouldn't reccommend..
