Los Cabos hotel shines with free-form pools and private beachside bliss
Pueblo Bonito Rose pours on tropical luxury in every corner, from the illuminated, palm-tree lined outdoor pools to the private, furnished balconies overlooking El Medano Beach. The scenery steals the show, especially in the grand lobby, where 350-year-old Flemish tapestries build the drama of being on vacation. Multiple restaurants, a busy activities roster and full-service spa prove that yes indeed, it is time to relax.
Highlights
  • Large free-form pool that leads to El Medano Beach
  • Find 260 suites overlooking the ocean or garden
  • Free shuttle to and from Pueblo Bonito Sunset, a sister hotel
  • Full-service spa and beauty salon
  • Multiple restaurants and private candlelit dinners on the beach
Rooms
Pueblo Bonito Rose rooms conjure casual oceanfront style with wicker furniture, warm bedding and tropical plants. Guests choose from junior suites or luxury suites equipped with kitchenettes. Furnished balconies beckon with prime vantage points for soaking in views of the ocean or garden. Comforts like a pillow menu, free satellite TV and high-speed Internet access are welcome conveniences. For an extra fee, visitors can also request babysitting services or massages in the room.
Dining
The restaurants of Pueblo Bonito Rose tempt with sea views and the appropriate ambiance for whatever occasion, from romantic dinners to casual lunches. At Mare Nostrum, guests indulge in buffets coupled with ocean vistas on Sundays and Mondays, along with live entertainment on some nights. Sunsets & Sushi Bar lives up to its name, dishing up inventive rolls, cocktails and outdoor. Finally, at Fellini's Ristorante, patrons savor thin-crust pizzas, fresh pasta and juicy meats in an upscale casual setting.
Recreation

Majestic palm trees create a stunning canopy by the large outdoor pools that seem to snake into the Pacific Ocean. There, visitors soak up rays on poolside loungers or take in the sparkling lights illuminating the white hotel buildings at night.

Spa at the Rose, named as one of the top 10 hotel spas by Travel + Leisure readers, offers a full menu of facials, massages and body treatments. For beauty tune-ups, guests book nail and hair services at the attached beauty salon. A fitness center enables patrons to stick to their workout routine.

Very nice hotel and great location!

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. The only thing we might be able to complain about is the fact that while they advertised a gym on site, it was only available to time share owners or by daily rate of $15 per person.

Best vacation we've EVER had !!!!

Pueblo Bonito Rose is as close as I can find to paradise. The hotel & grounds are well maintained & immacuate. Our room was the 1st floor off the pool, & was sound proof!! Even at the high point of the day you didn't hear a thing. Rooms are large & bed was comfortable. 4 choices of pillow firmness to choose from...a nice treat. The restaurants were amazing...so much to choose from and everything was delicious. Location to town is great, walking distance to everywhere- but if you don't want to walk a cab is only $6. Many activities to choose from & reasonably priced. Went parasailing, breathtaking! The people are great, friendly & helpful. BEST vacation ever!! We'll go back! It is a time share, but there is no pressure AT ALL! Should you choose to see the presentation..they make it worth the time by giving you certificates for all sorts of activities or credit on your bill. I'm glad we saw their new location the tour was wonderful.. and NO PRESSURE.

Wonderful!

The Rose is the perfect balance. Swimmable beach. Close to the town and nightlife and beach bars, but far enough away to still feel secluded and relaxing. Nice cross-section of people. The all-inclusive deal is a MUST! Amazing deal. Superb food and drinks.

Great Location and Price!

Great hotel, great staff, great location. If you go to this resort, make sure you get the all-inclusive package [...]. It is definitely worth it for the money. Even if you would like to eat out in downtown, the all-inclusive is worth it for the unlimited drinks all day long. Highly recommend this resort for friends, couples, and family.

Enjoyable stay

Stayed in late June 2011 for 5 nights. Location was excellent. The view from the room was incredible. Beds were comfortable and we did not use the AC, we just left the balcony door open at night. The gym and tennis courts were surprisingly good. The Concergie was excellent. The only problem we had was with the serving staff. They were not polite and not interested in taking care of you. Many people get the all inclusive drinks and food, so maybe the staff was not motivated to take care of the rest of us?? Anyway, I would stay there again

Talk with the Concergie to get the names of good places to eat. You can walk to most of them. Expensive but great food.

Amazing Hotel, Beach, Friendly Staff!

After arriving at the hotel, the friendly receptionist helped pick our room and the staff moved our luggage to the room with the quickness. The room was clean, roomy, excellent view of the pool, easy access to the beach (30 second walk to get there), and there is even a kitchen! This hotel is so convenient because after you step onto the beach, you can walk down the beach front and check out the other restaurants, walk to the marina, or hop onto a water taxi to check out Lover's Beach. I don't think there was anything missing from this hotel! Checkout took less than 30 seconds (no joke). The staff was ultra friendly and made sure we enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel!

I would highly recommend getting a rental car. Parking is free at the hotel and there is a security gate, usually manned by 2 people. Getting a rental allows you to drive up the Coast and check out other cities such as La Paz up north. It was one of the best driving experiences ever, especially when you're driving through twisty mountain roads in a 5 speed manual!

We wish we were still there!!!!

My husband and I went to Cabo for a relaxing trip. I am 5 1/2months pregnant and was a little worried about traveling. The Hotel was very accommodating and put us on the first floor near the pool. The pool was clean and refreshing. We did a lot of floating in the pool and eating. The gym was amazing. It was exceptionally clean and the equipment was new and functioning.
