Perfect getaway spot

This is a great resort with beautiful, lush grounds, spacious and clean rooms and a beach location that is hard to beat! The Pueblo Bonito Rose is just what we wanted...close to town but not a wild and crazy hotel with loud music and late night partying. The rooms were very nicely decorated with a good size fridge and kitchenette. The balcony had nice chairs and a beautiful view of the ocean and rock formation in the distance. The beach is nice and you can swim the only drawback on this stretch is all the huckers trying to sell you their wears. But once you learn to ignore them it is a great spot to relax and listen to the water lap on the shore.

Dining tip: Long walk from hotel

Although we enjoyed several meals of Mexican food we thoroughly enjoyed La Dolce Italian for a change of pace. It is located in town approx. 2 blocks up from Tesora resort with a great menu of Italian favorites.

WOW!

Wow. I can't say enough good things about the location, staff, and beauty of Pueblo Bonito Rose. First off- I was weary of paying the same amount for a non-inclusive hotel as I would be for an all inclusive... but the location makes up for not getting everything included. Town was a short walk away- stay on the main roads though- some streets get too dark for the walk back..., and land's end (where the natural stone arch is) was viewed everyday after a short stroll to the beach. I'm not sure about the food at other hotels that are all inclusive- but I would recommend going to town and getting the out-of-hotel experience. The staff was fabulous. Very welcoming, friendly, and would go the extra mile to give you a great experience. Ask and you shall receive. Last, but certainly not least... this hotel is beautiful. Every window seems to be framing some beautiful view- whether of the pool, the natural scenery, or of the hotel itself. Gorgeous. I reccomend the sushi at the bar seaside- as well as the ceviche at the excellent restaurant within the hotel- can't beat the views there at dinner! Overall... wonderful experience- and I would book there again.

Money-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

take the free shuttle to the other hotel that is connected to the Bonito Rose. It's a beautiful drive, and I recommend going at sunset... absolutely gorgeous. They had a traditional Mexican band there - and while perched on a cliff side veranda while sipping a tasty drink, and listening to a 1920's era Mexican lounge band... you will think you died and went to heaven. Just wonderful.... you will only have to pay for your drinks...

Love this place!!!!

It just so close to everything and it's easy and very accomodating if you don't feel like going anywhere. They deli has everything you would need. The only downfall is the food at the restaurants at the Rose are not very good. The food is pretty much tasteless.

Excellent Value, Clean, Attentive Staff

The value was incredible for such a large hotel. The staff was professional and friendly. We used the pool and beach facilities, and we participated in some of the activities. The room was large, well decorated and very clean. The hotel has a very nice deli and patio and nice restaurants. Just wish it would have had a more casual setting for food during the day.

Amazing Vacation at a Good Price

This is the least amount of money I've ever spent on a vacation and it has been the best. The Hotel was beautiful. We definetly got more than what we paid for. The staff in and out of hotel were very helpful and attentive. We had 3 minor problems but they werent too bad. The beds were rather small which was probably the worst of the trip. Eat at Tres Mares! The best seafood and not touristy.

2nd time to stay at the Rose

August is hot. If under 30 OK, over 30 stay in the pool and drink a lot. Good fishing at Redrum Fishing. Great location and food, service etc. If you use the Gay Line transportation, have several drinks before you depart to the airport..our driver scared the hell out of us!

Great hotel, great service!

this is a great hotel with a great location and very attentive and nice staff. it's located right on the sea of cortes, a beautiful beach. one of the best amenities of the hotel is that there is a free shuttle that takes guests to Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach resort, a sister hotel. the sky pool there is absolutely amazing as is the hotel itself. definitely check it out. My friend and I had such an amazing time!
