Great Cabo visit at PB Pacifica

arrived in Cabo and promptly met by arranged transfer to hotel. Greeted with a Margariatta, bags taken care of, staff extremely courteous. Hotel is located away from other distractions but only a short 10 minute taxi($12) into town or a free shuttle to the sister hotel PB Rose. If you are an ocean person, swimming is not available at the Pacifica due to rip currents but nice walks on the beach, very quiet. A quick trip to the Rose hotel allows you to swim in the ocean. Food was very good and service fantastic. Theme buffets allows the food to change for different tastes although we found the Siempre restaurant to have nice menu options and the quality of food was excellent. Drinks are top shelf- must visit the Tequila bar. Very happy with this hotel, planning next years visit already.

Nightlife tip: Long walk from hotel

It is spoken that you can take a free shuttle from the Pacifica to the Rose which is true and then walk ~4 blocks into the marina and town. It's a bit longer than that and the route is not well marked. If walking in the heat is a bother, consider taking a taxi from the Pacifica into town at your destination. Only $12 which does add up but for those with injury, a consideration.

Perfect couples getaway!

You are greeted with a glass of champagne on your arrival. The staff were all very accommodating and eager to make our stay memorable. The room was beautiful, the whole resort was very peaceful. The mattress was a little too firm but linens were very soft. We enjoyed a couples massage, Celia and Sara were great! We rented a cabana bed on the beach 2 days, very relaxing. Took a towel folding class. Food was good at the evening buffet and in the restaurants. Muchos gracias to your wonderful staff, Marcos,Javier, Erika, Alma, Julian, Julio's, Hector,Jonathan, and Leonardo and Martha! We would stay with them again and have already recommended the Pacifica to friends.

Not your typical All Inclusive

Perfect relaxing vacation with 5 star quality. Food at the siempre restaurant was great. All inclusive even valid at sister resorts. Tip your server/bartender and receive great service. It looks as if the service is great even if you dont but for an extra ten or so dollars a day, why not get the best. The one negative is that This hotel was built to bring more people to view / buy pueblo bonito timeshare. Everything is top of the line and service is spectacular. There is heavy pressure to attend their sister resort for timeshare demonstration. It is approximatley a 3 hour individual tour. If you can deal with that, this is a great vacation. (almost bought one it was so nice). The town of cabo is a 10-12$ cab ride away. Theres no nightlife at the resort. If you are looking to party you must go out.

Quality vacation for a great price

The beauty and cleanliness of the hotel and grounds was impeccable. The service was excellent! The service in the Siempre Restaurant was second to none. We felt like a King and Queen at each meal. The quality of the food was wonderful. It was very gourmet and they went to great lengths to please and adjust for any diet restrictions. It was very quiet, peaceful and no smoking which we loved!!!

Highly Recommend

Rest assured that if you are looking to get away to a beautiful, restful resort by the ocean without children or smoking, this is the place. Rooms are spotless, the bed very comfortable, cleaned and turned down twice a day. The lack of jungle-like landscaping at other resorts made Pacifica cooler and less humid. Staff is friendly but not overly. Food was delicious and priced as any high end resort. We felt we received a value for our money spent, and plan to return.

Beautiful: wonderful staff, secluded

Rooms, dining, pool, bar, staff... all outstanding. My group was not into all of the healing, holistic stuff so the location of the hotel and many of the amenities did not appeal to us. We spent most of our time catching shuttle or taxi rides into town or the marina cause we were there to party. OUR fault for not understanding what the hotel was all about before we booked. Next time we go to Cabo we intend to get a hotel closer to town and the marina w/ a beach where we can swim (water too rough at Pacifica)

Money-saving tip: Not Applicable

If you wish to remain isolated at the hotel w/ no swimming in the ocean this place is great. Shuttles could get you to Pueblo Bonito Rose' but the marina was a 30 minute walk from there and downtown shopping not real convenient either. Any other destinations were by taxi only

Peacefull getaway

The hotel is excellent and the location is great but you must have a car. The shutle system to and from the sister hotels does not work well. Most of the times due to limited seats you must book it ahead of time. One thing that really bothered us was that for the first time ever we had to pay to brew our own coffee inside the room, I am not kidding $4 per bag.

Absolutely Relaxing in Luxury

My husband and I were looking to celebrate our birthdays and a week away from the kids, in peace and relaxation. The hotel was amazing on all fronts: the servcie was impeccable from the doorman to the host at the pool to the restaurants, not only did they all see to it that we were well cared for, but were friendly and fun to talk with. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, great architecture, amazing veiws of the ocean it seemed from everyone room. The pool was great for relaxing, reading a book and having a margarita, after a spa treatment or a work out in the gym. The ocean is too rough to swim in at this location so the beach was a bit unused, although we did find ourselves hanging out a few times on the "beach beds"! The location is great for those who want to get "away from it all" but also it's so easy to take the hotel shuttle to the other sister resorts when we wanted to get to Medano beach or a short taxi to downtown. The only negative is that "everything" seems to have a price to it from the water in the room to the fitness center, but the souroundings make it worth it.

Very Relaxing

Great hotel. We had a problem with one of the restaurants and the hotel manager went above and beyond to remedy the situation. The staff was very good. The hotel is out of the way which we liked and no kids, but you can still hear adults parting through the walls. The only drawback is that the people taking room service orders do not speak English sometimes and screw up the order.
