Best place to relax
It was really nice to be there. Very quiet without kids around. There is a limitation to access to beach, but the pools and spa is good. Nice and clean beach to lie down especially on the beach bed with reservation at $3 per day. Restaurants are also super with nice foods. Just be there and enjoy. My wife and two grown up kids love this place.

Nice Hotel - but not Five Star
We were in California for a family get together and decided to visit Cabo San Lucas as our annual vacation. This is the first time we have been to the Pacific side of Mexico and to an all inclusive resort. We chose the Pueblo Bonito Pacifica (PBP). The overall experience was nice, but we have to measure it against our bench mark which is Cancun. I will list features as (liked) and (disliked) Things we liked: Hotel location ā secluded Adult only ā very quiet Small property ā made it easy to get around Staff ā mostly ok Check in - very easy Pool Bar/Restaurant ā the best food at the hotel Work out facility ā ok Things we disliked: Restaurant food ā not gourmet ā small menu ā same buffet every day Staff - some better than others Small pools Door lock on room ā worked about half the time ā needed to bang lock to open door Restaurant food ā not gourmet ā small menu ā same buffet every day Daily cleaning of property ā my cigar butt was in ash tray for two (2) days Your drink refilled at restaurant ā mostly had to ask for refills Skip the sushi bar- not much of a selection Drink selection ā nothing I would normally drink was on the all inclusive menu Restaurant food ā not gourmet ā small menu ā same buffet every day Over all the Pueblo Bonito Pacifica is nice, but if compared to other Mexican resorts we frequent it falls a little short. We only take one (1) vacation a year and we expect everything to be excellent, but as we all know sometimes things donāt work out that way. In my opinion and as you can deduce from my likes and dislikes, food was the biggest issue. If the PBP offered a better menu and buffet, my review would have been very different.

Romantic get away
The location feels very remote yet is only 10 mins to town. The beach is over 2 miles long and very private. At times we were the only ones walking on the beach. It felt like ours. Sweet. The room was adequate despite not being overly large. Very clean and it had all we really needed. The staff here are amazing. So so nice, accommodating and personal.Could not ask for better service. The food is very fresh, healthy and wholesome. You can get the carb load type food if you like or fresh fish, fruits, etc with a mexican flare. Good quality alcohol as well. Great tequila options if you wish to pay for the best of the best. It is very zen and relaxing. We were in culture shock at first then really learned to appreciate to screaming kids or any type of crazy anywhere. Feel into the meditative state of mind here. We plan to return next year to decompress.

Quiet, luxurious, adults only
The Pacifica is the highest end of the Pueblo Bonito resorts in Cabo San Lucas. It is adults-only, and was very quiet when we visited at the end of October. The pool and restaurants were never too busy. Staying at the Pacifica grants you access to all the amenities at the other Pueblo Bonito locations, which are accessible via the free shuttle service. The food was good, though we found the food to be better at the other locations, probably since they were much larger hotels. The pool was definitely the best at the Pacifica. Not very busy, not too rowdy. The location is the furthest from the airport and from the town. It's a 30 min free shuttle ride to the Rose which is within walking distance of the town. Our time was mainly spent relaxing at our resort, we didn't spend any time in town. The ocean was too rough for swimming at our beach. The same is true at the Sunset Beach location. The Rose is the only beach available for swimming. It is also the loudest and most crowded beach. There are bars along the beach, tons of other resorts, and lots of locals selling things to tourists, including boat rides, jet ski rentals, that type of thing.

Good for all-inclusive, but just so-so
Phone systems were down (we were not informed of this at all) and we missed a messaged canceling our zip-line tour. Gray Line not recommended as middle man for transport or adventures. Lots of food was fried and just so-so. Staff was very good, friendly and attentive. Nice hotel. No beach swimming allowed due to current/undertow and they don't inform you of this until arrival. Nice pool and ability to use amenities at other Pueblo Bonito resorts a plus. Good value for all-inclusive. Would visit again, with conditions.

Amazing retreat away from the everyday and treated like royalty
I have nothing negative to say about my experience at this hotel. I went with 3 girlfriends and the 3 of us had an absolutely AMAZING time. We are well-traveled with over 25+ countries combined under our belt and have NEVER been treated so well and had such an amazing 5-star experience. The FOOD is NOT what you typically expect at a resort. As a foodie that appreciates locally sourced organic (as much as possible) ingredients made from scratch, this is a dream come true. Things are not simply slapped on a plate; care and attention is paid to plating. If you are looking for a place to party hard every night with loud music and a bunch of drunken strangers until early morning, this is NOT the place for you. If you're looking for a zen, quiet, relaxing, retreat-like experience and great food and drink, then come to Pacifica. Mind you, we still had our share of fun at the "pool bash" and having good times with friends over multiple coronas and tequila... but it wasn't about partying all night and that's exactly what we wanted.

They never put us on the pick up list for our transportation to the hotel we were supposed to be there by 2 pm we got there at 6. On the way home we had to pay for our shuttle to the airport Staff was ok the 1st few days but seemed put off with everyone after that The buffet was sub- par and stayed the same all week. The room was nice the pool was average. Overall ok but we will not be back. For the money we spent not a great value.

Trip to relax
It was definitely a very relaxing resort, as there was not much to do. When we arrived we signed up for the viewing of the time shares in order to get a $150 spa credit. You had to give $20 US in order to do this and we were told we would get it back after the presetation. When we arrived for the viewing we were told that we only got a $140 spa credit, and would not get $10 of our $10 back. We left as we felt we they were not up front with us about how the process worked.

AWESOME
This was one of the best vacations we've had. It prefectly fit what we were looking for. It is away from everything and very quite. Yet, they do have other locations if you're looking for activities. The food was absolutely awesome. Hats off to the chef. Every restuarant at the Paciticia and Sunset was 5 stars. The drinks were great. THe staff was extremely friendly and very helpfut. We missed the tequilla tasting glass, so the bartender APOLLO gave us a personal glass. Jaime was our personal Butler and he was amazing. He always knew where we were and made sure our vacation was prefect. I just got back home and I'm planning our next trip.
