Not the best for a 5 star rating

Most of the time the service was good - but we did have some moments when the service we should have received was just not there - there was definitely some very good staff on property - overall a good 8 out of 10

Excellent !

Our first time in Cabo, and it was wonderful. The staff was very friendly, the facilities were excellent, and the food was above par. We relaxed and enjoyed the fact that there were no children running around. we would not hesitate to go back .

upscale and beautiful resort

Staff greats you with champagne and warm mint towels. The view is wonderful and the food is 5 star. I am a chef and was very impressed. This resort is very impressive and there were no hidden fees. They also serve premium drinks at all bars. I drank crown and sky vodka the entire time... no kids here either which was a plus... the beach is very clean and nice however the waves are so rough that you are not allowed into the water due to safety issues but there are public beaches just down the street...overall we loved it here and will be back...

Relaxing getaway

We have done a great deal of travel, and by far the staff was amazing. Never have we met such warm, kind, friendly staff anywhere like here. Impecably clean everywhere you went on the property. We were disappointed in the options for restaurants, we were misled and others we met said the same that there were 5 places to eat and to do so you had to go downtown to the sister hotels where you were offered a limited menu, and there was two displayed but we were told it was only one we could use??? Food was good at the Pacifica, but not a big choice. Thought it was strange that the Sunset, which was up the hill from the Pacifica was not an option to eat at unless you paid, not impressed with that. Other than the tile in the pool area needing extensive repair, it was as relaxing as can be, the Spa was superb and everyone there on the entire property were wonderful, KUDOS !!!

Stay at Peublo Bonito Pacifica

The resort is beautiful and the drinks and food is all inclusive. What is not included is the Spa and the Beach beds. This resort is the marketing resort of the PB group and hence all the amenities. I found it a tad too expensive for 3 nights. Also note that going to the beach and swimming is NOT allowed since there is a riptide. All in all a good place to be when u dont want kids yelling around u in a pool and just want to sip a margarita all paid. Also me being a vegetarian did not have many food options apart from the chilli reno and vege quesadia. Also note that they do give options to eat at Rose & Blanco but getting there in a shuttle to/fro is time consuming.

Not your typical All Inclusive

Perfect relaxing vacation with 5 star quality. Food at the siempre restaurant was great. All inclusive even valid at sister resorts. Tip your server/bartender and receive great service. It looks as if the service is great even if you dont but for an extra ten or so dollars a day, why not get the best. The one negative is that This hotel was built to bring more people to view / buy pueblo bonito timeshare. Everything is top of the line and service is spectacular. There is heavy pressure to attend their sister resort for timeshare demonstration. It is approximatley a 3 hour individual tour. If you can deal with that, this is a great vacation. (almost bought one it was so nice). The town of cabo is a 10-12$ cab ride away. Theres no nightlife at the resort. If you are looking to party you must go out.

Very Relaxing!

We have stayed at many upscale all inclusives in Mexico over the years and while this was not the best, it rates in the top 5. We were looking for rest and relaxation and that is certainly what we got! So much so that if you are someone that gets bored laying by the pool, I would not suggest this hotel. The food was very good. I enjoyed breakfast & dinner the most. One thing this hotel was lacking is the dinner options that other hotels have. They only had two options per night versus 5 - 6 at other all-inclusives. Also, we found the service to be very good from the waiters, but poor from the front desk staff. They did not make us feel welcome when we arrived and I HATED wearing a risk band to indicate we were all-inclusive. No other place I have stayed it made us wear risk bands. The pools were very nice and the beach was gorgeous (even though you cannot swim). Hotel rooms were pretty good although we could not get the humidity out of the room, it was always sticky. We mentioned this to the staff, but nothing was done. The decor and landscaping in the hotel was very nicely done and maintained. I did not use the spa, but my friends did and they liked it. Overall we really enjoyed our stay because we hoped to relax, but our times at the Secrets Resorts in Riviera Maya was slightly better.

Relaxation

Great staff, very helpful and kind. Couldn't go in the water at the beach, but spent time in the cabana (a must do!), went to the swimming pool, and beach at the other Pueblo Bonito resorts (about 10 minutes away). Free shuttle to take you to the other Pueblo Bonito resorts. We went on ATV's, which was awesome! Boat ride to Lover's Beach! Shopping in the city. Had great dessert and coffee at Senor Sweets in the city at the Marina. Went to the spa at Pacifica for a couple's massage. Had a great time! Would highly recommend this resort. Complete relaxation!
