location, location Rose and Blanco what u need to know
If you want to hang out where the action is, this is it. It is centrally located you can walk to the marina at night. We were upgraded to the Pueblo Bonito Rose next door it's sister hotel which was a better deal. The Blanco is nice, clean but small and it has a very small pool compared to the Rose next door, regardless you can use the facilities next door so thats not an issue., but you shouldn't pay more to stay at the blanco. It is the oldest hotel of the four sister pueblo bonitos, but it's location makes it desirable. It is centrally located and in front of Los Arcos or playa del amor around the bend you will find the pacific ocean. We went for 4th of July and they had a great show. The only bad thing is they tend to exclude younger children from pool games which was upsetting to my 9 year old son :(. Bummer, so they don't really cater to your children, but your children will have a great time with you anyway :). they have a great kids pool that you will enjoy very safe (. The shows do include the chiildren at the beggining which is fun for them. OH and shows are not free you have to pay for the sit down dinner and show . They have a nice and reasonab ly priced coffee shop and mini mart where you can get your coffee and paper in the morning. The beach is kind of on a slope not so flat as you may want to swim in it comfortably. you have to watch small children well., but its very clean. Except when it rains, there is a gutter that runs through the hotel and it brings all of th grime and trash from the city on to the beach. If it rains you can't use the beach at least for a day until it clears up. It is right across from los arcos playa del amor so about a 15 minuite boat ride to go snorkle and hang out, but because you are very close to the pacific ocean the waves can sometimes be a little choppy. The hotel is a little overpriced but your basically paying for the location. You save money and time on not having to take a taxi here and there. Overall it's a very comfortable hotel with a great pool. For kids I have to say that it is kid friendly but they personally dont go out of there way to cater to your kids. They are more focused on adults playing volley ball and teenagers. You can still have a great time with your little ones as you won't have to walk so far with them if you want to check out the rest of downtown cabo. A stroller can easily be used to go to the marina which is about a mile away from your hotel and a safe walk. I recommend taking the shuttle to the Sunset Beach Pueblo Bonito and having dinner at the Frida Kahlo Restaurant. That is if your looking for a romantic dinner with no kids. Anyhow Make reservations atht e Frida Kahlo! That hotel is on th pacific side so the beach is non swimmable but beautiful and breath taking views. this is a 5 star hotel and well worth the price. when I booked in october three years ago I paid 160.00 and I was so happy to tell all my friends that I stayed at the best resort ever for that price. However now the prices have sky rocketed! There is no way I will pay 500/ night because I don't believe any hotel is worth that. Sorry. The service is always wonderful because it "MEXICO".

Beautiful View
Pueblo Bonito Blanco was beautiful! The room was large (the Jr. suite has a seperate bedroom), the view was awesome (honestly, I don't think there's a bad view in the whole hotel), the grounds were super nice and the staff was more than helpful. The food was better than average and it was great that it was within walking distance to both the marina and downtown. The ONLY negatives would be the pushy street and beach vendors (but they were everywhere) and the mattresses could be better. However, that being said, we would most definately stay there again!

Be VERY careful about any of the silver you buy from the vendors...99% of it is plated. In the nicer stores it is solid silver. See Carlos' shop in San Jose' del Cabo - it is and he is great (one-of-a-kind pieces). The art district in the Historic part of San Jose' is worth the short taxi ride!!!

Location, location, location!
Upon arrival, do NOT allow them to send you to their neighboring sister hotel, called "Pueblo Bonito Rose." It's LESS and WORSE, although they will claim it's all the same. We insisted on staying at Blanco and had to put up with a room change during our 7-night stay, but everything else was fine. I wish they had more respect for their guests at the front desk.

Perfect midweek getaway
The Pueblo Bonito Blanco has a great location, its close, walk-able distance to the main town so convenient. The hotel is clean with friendly staff and a prime location on the Medano Beach. The view was fantastic. Looking out our patio we got a view of the beach, ocean and the Arch. The pool area was clean and well maintained as well as an ample amount of towels. The beach chairs were right along the hotel with staffing available to help you find some chairs to camp out and soak in some sun. Two reasons why I didn’t give this 5 stars is because the walls are thin. The noise from the hallway outside your door is extremely loud. Since we were on vacation we wanted to sleep in and were woken up at 2am with people coming back from the bars and clubs or at 5am with those early risers. The other reason for 4 stars is the timeshare presentations. After check-in avoid the desk on the other side of the check-in counter. It’s for the timeshare! They say it takes 90 minutes, it ends up taking about half you day and you have lost precious beach time.

Perfect for a young family
We expected a lot from Pueblo Bonito after viewing the pictures and reading the reviews and it ended up surpassing our expectations by a long shot! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. My wife and kids said it was the best vacation spot of their lives and I have to agree. The hotel is beautiful and the location is perfect. There are breathtaking views from every room. Our next vacation destiny will be Pueblo Bonito without a doubt!

Nice place, lacks food choices
Pueblo Bonito was a good value for the price. However, it lacked in places to eat and the restaurant prices seemed very high. I've been going to Mexico for 11 years and this trip the food was much more expensive than I've ever noticed before. I don't always want to sit at a table with tableclothes in Mexico of all places, what happened to the laid back cafe style places? This hotel did not have one. Too formal. It was very Americanized. We didn't eat once here, we walked to the beach restaurants for evey meal. As far as the hotel itself, it was clean and very lovely. One bartender in the outdoor bar was a bit short with me and the ladies in the hotel check in were not very helpful, however CARLOS was wonderful during our check out!
