Heart of the action
Cannot beat this hotel for location. Walking distance to Merida Beach, Cabo Wabo, malls, etc. etc. We had the all-inclusive which was better than many, and the variety was excellent. The room was very clean, comfortable bed, room safe, flat screen TV, refrigerator, and more. Really deserves 4 stars. We will return.

Great Hotel
We went for the fishing. The hotel is steps away from the docks, great restaurants and shopping. The room was nice and the pool outstanding, but they closed it at 8:00 pm everynight. WI-FI worked flawlessly. Great security, friendly and helpful staff.

Never again...
While I have had many positive experiences in Cabo, this was not one of them. The staff were stuck up and seemed put out by doing anything outside of what they deemed their normal daily work. I couldn't even bring a friend that I met back up to the room to get changed and go out on the town together, because their have a strict no guest policy. For her to simple come up and get changed, they would have charged me a $35 guest fee. That is just ridiculous. I will never be staying there ever again.

Excellent Location
This is the best location if you are planning on going fishing a lot. You just walk out of the resort to the marina and get on the boat. I did not go fishing with my husband and two friends that was also staying at the Marina Fiesta Resort, but no problem the beautiful shopping plaza was right there steps away from the Marina Fiest Resort with everyting you could think of. I enjoyed the swimming pool and pool side service. The rooms were cleaned daily and I will stay again next year when I return.

Short drive from hotel
You can ask the resturants to cook your fish that you catch. Ponchos Tequlia Bar on Hildago street was a great place and also the Crazy Lobster across the street from Ponchos Tequlia Bar was good. We had the Marina Fiesta cook it the first night and it was delicious but a little high. Walk or drive the short distance to the resturants away from the resort and you will enjoy that as well.

BE CAREFUL
Be Careful. I was ROBBED just outside the marina gate at the hotel. My wallet was taken and everything in it. This was a very BAD thing. I had everything in my wallet. If I ever get up the nerve to travel to Mexico again (probably not), I will be much smarter. I will only carry a small amount of cash and one ID in my FRONT pocket so no one would suspect that I'm carrying anything much less a wallet. Please be careful in MEXICO, you could lose everything. The silver lining was that I wasn't physically hurt.

Short walk from hotel
There is a new Mexican restaurant at a location previously occupied by a defunct Japanese restaurant called Bohai. It's now called Coyote something or other and it is fantastic. It's definitely upscale but not up-priced. The fare is 100% Mexican (not fusion, not Tex-Mex) done with skill and imagination. DO NOT MISS this opportunity.

Kerry and Mike's 3rd Annual Cabo Fishing
This was The 3rd Annual Kerry and Mike Cabo Fishing Adventure. We have chosen this hotel for the last 3 years because it is the best location if you are going to Cabo mainly for fishing. It is in the marina which is like its own safe, isolated area with plenty of restaurants and a beautiful mall and shopping. We never rent a car because everything is within walking distance. You can even walk to the city and also the beach in about 5 min.The hotel is quiet and the staff is always friendly.

If you are looking for cheap eats, either take your fish you catch to a local restaurant and they will cook it for you with all the sides for about $10.00. I highly reccomend Pacho's in the marina. Also for cheap eats take a walk into town and eat at one of the little taco stands,They may not look fancy but most of them have some very authentic and yummy taco's. Enjoy
