Great Relaxing Little Hotel
A group of us stayed here before our Villa was ready in Pedregal. It was just the perfect combination of boutique and quite hotel we were looking for. The beds are really comfortable and the hotel staff are very accommodating. I would recommend this hotel to those who want something not right on the water and in the heart of all the noise. We will be back.

Great for cost, but far from most things
It was definitely a nice hotel. It has a wonderful pool. Breakfast is okay- its either fruit with yogurt, or a small box of cereal. Its good, but not a lot. It is definitely worth the savings, but you must know that it is not close to anything. there are no restaurants near the hotel, only the restaurant upstairs. The beach is not really that close to walk, but is close by taxi or bus.

Take the bus if you need to get around.. its easy and much less expensive than a taxi. It pics up really close to the hotel.

Nice enough hotel for the price. The map and distance references are wrong. The hotel is about 2 miles from the center but is on the north side of the highway.

the first timer in los cabos
really nice
The hotel is very clean and the room and the beds are really confortable the only thing is that the music that is played out in the pool area is too loud and is on til to late and that was kinda disturbing but other than that is a really nice and clean place to stay

The taxis charge like 5.00 to take you downtown and the bus that passes right in front of the hotel charges like .70 per person or 8 pesos so that a good option if you want a ride down town

Nice hotel, with reservations
Although a little out of town, a very nice hotel at a great price. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the restaurant was good. As others have mentioned you will need some sort of transportation -- a rental car worked great for us. As I read the other reviews I see a little truth in all of them. The water could be hotter, the staff is not as bi-lingual as the main resorts. But I think some of the complaints are duee to a different mindset in Mexico: relax, life is to be enjoyed -- don't let minor inconveniences ruin your vacation. In summary a good hotel at a great price. I will stay again.

As you plan your trip to Cabo consider a hotel with airport shuttle, or pre-arrange a rental car or other airport transportation. Arranging transport from the airport is expensive after you arrive.

Los Patios Hotel
Quaint place, however... no direct entrance, you have to pass it up by 1/2 mile make a u-turn to get into the place. The rooms were very small for mom, dad and two kids. five clear channels, and nothing for kids. Towels had large holes in them. we checked out of this hotel and got another name brand room in town, which was larger, cleaner, more aminities, for less money.

We booked last minute and got
We booked last minute and got a really good rate. The Hotel is new and quaint and isnt a huge resort which is nice. Totally enjoyed the nice pool in the courtyard and the private hammock on our balcony. The food at the hotel was excellent, and the breakfast buffet is worth the price aswell. The location is about 5 minutes away from the Main Beach. It isnt on the beach, but its close enough. The little city bus stop is right out front of the hotel and comes around every 15 mins. Not bad as it goes to the beach and only costs maybe 18 pesos. I would stay there again, beds are super comfy!!

Great service and accomodations
Excellent service...front desk, maid service and restaurant.. very friendly and helpful with special requests and recommendations. The hotel was very clean and I observed the detail the staff gave to this task on a daily basis... rooms and common areas, as well. It was a 10-15 minute hike to the beach... people who want to be in the middle of the action on Medano Beach would be probably be happier at one of the tourist hotels along the strip.

Excellent Value
