Hacienda-style Los Cabos resort stuns with architectural flair and food
Hacienda Encantada Resort & Spa All Inclusive is the perfect pitch of modern amenities and local flavor. The hacienda-style hotel brims with authentic Spanish Colonial architecture, from gothic furniture to folk art. The all-suite property features two outdoor pools, and a swim-up bar and two fine dining restaurants capturing both ambiance and sizzling fare.
Highlights
  • Spanish Colonial suites
  • Two hacienda-style restaurants
  • Holistic spa and authentic Tezmacal
  • Nightly themed dinners
  • Two pools and a swim-up bar
Rooms
Oversized suites make a striking impression on guests at Hacienda Encantada Resort & Spa All Inclusive. Decked out in tropical and Spanish Colonial style, suites -- available in junior, master, presidential and junior penthouse versions -- embrace ethnic artwork, floral bedding and dramatic hand-carved wood furniture. Amber-tinted chandeliers complement mustard-hued tile backsplashes in kitchens, while tile floors lend a feeling of antiquity. The larger suites boast dining tables for enjoying meals in.
Dining
Two hacienda-style restaurants offer fine dining at Hacienda Encantada Resort & Spa All Inclusive. Las Marias celebrates authentic Mexican fare and the Sea of Cortez. Guests indulge in the views from cliff-top balconies, while themed dinners provide live entertainment that spans global tastes. At Trajinera Restaurant, upholstered armchairs and arched windows create colonial flair. The eatery is open for lunch and dinner. An open-air snack bar and swim-up sports bar beckon on balmy days.
Recreation
Leisure time at Hacienda Encantada Resort & Spa All Inclusive centers on the two outdoor pools, but visitors can also relax in the Jacuzzis or at the holistic spa. An authentic Tezmacal, or sweat lodge, is a main draw. Inside the hut, stones are heated and infused with medicinal herbs to help release the toxins from the body. The ritual originated in Mexico and Central America.

Dining

La Pergola Restaurant & pool bar
Our La Pergola Restaurant & Pool Bar is the perfect place for a casual meal for 2, or groups up to 100 that want to add water activities to their menu of fun. Our restaurant offers dining al fresco under a shady pergola on elegant cast-iron glass covered tables and comfy chairs. The red-tile roofed outdoor kitchen and bar offer outdoor grilled burgers, sandwiches, Arrechera steak, shrimp baskets, and traditional Mexican fare. Appetizers from Spring Rolls and shrimp cocktails to Super Nachos and 3 kinds of fresh fish and shrimp ceviches are guaranteed to please. Our homemade clam chowder and chicken vegetable soups, Cesar and Chef's salads will bring comfort to those visiting from afar. The long, meandering swimming pool is an elegant blend of traditional and contemporary design from the checkerboard tiled deck and giant stone ball fountain to the brightly painted aqueduct arches that frame the restaurant.
Dining
Guest will have a assortment of restaurant and bar choices from simple snack to a gourmet meal, or a simple beer to a signature Martini or a nice vintage wine.
El Patio Restaurant & Pool bar
Secluded, mystical, and enchanting - El Patio Restaurant is as close to paradise as you can get. Enjoy casual, intimate dining, drinks on our patio overlooking the sea, or a cool margarita at the infinity pool's swim-up bar. Your gaze will drift beyond the waters edge, merging with the Sea of Cortez's horizon and sky above. Experience the power and beauty of nature as waves crash on the rocks fifty feet below your table. Whales, ships and sailboats bound for exotic destinations pass by, while you live the good life indulging yourself by lounging on a Caribbean bed above the sea. Unwind with your favorite beverage - from specialty martinis to cervezas - you'll find them here. Spoil yourself with Mexican and Asian inspired appetizers like Tostadas Contramar featuring sashimi-like tuna slices in soy and Mexican spices, Spring Rolls stuffed with sweet and sour chicken, Super Nachos, 3 types of ceviches and others.
Las Marias Restaurant
Watch the world sail by from our Las Marias restaurant high on a bluff high over the Sea of Cortez. Whales, yachts, cruise ships, and a Hollywood movie buccaneer pirate ship from Cabo, pass by often offshore. Indulge in our special omelet of shrimp, spinach and Hollandaise sauce while watching a beautiful sunrise. For appetizers try the Blue Corn Dough "Gorditas" - stuffed Empanadas (dumplings), or the Tuna Carpaccio with Goat Cheese. Our Tortilla Soup is rich with the colors and textures of old Mexico, the Seafood Soup filled with the sea's bounty in a picante broth. The Glory Salad using organically grown local produce and chunks of blue cheese is a culinary work of art not-to-be-missed. Our original chocolate/chile based mole' sauce recipe takes two days preparation using 35 ingredients, and is fantastic served over chicken. Light up your evening with the Los Barriles Style Shrimp - flambe'd tableside in a delicious Tequila coconut sauce.

Spring vacation

Overall, very nice... the location was very pretty with the rocks but couldn't go in the ocean there. Inclusive was the way to go except different than others I have been at since you had to sign for every thing you ordered. Kids had fun in the pool and could watch the whales from the endless pool.

Great romantic 20th anniversary

We really enjoyed our romantic getaway. I had done a lot of research, but was even more beautiful than the pictures. Our one bedroom ocean view room was really comfortable and they never missed cleaning our room. Most of the rooms have ocean views, the best floors would be the third and fourth, although we had a great veiw on the second floor. This is a timeshare property, relatively new. That would probably be my one negative as they do have you sit down with a gal when you arrive to try to get you to sign up for a presentation. We declined, but there was a bit of pressure. The good news is that we were never bothered again. The food was good, but not specatcular. Liked the breakfast and pool the best. The service was impeccable, everyone went above and beyond, very friendly. If you want a quiet place with gorgeous views, really nice rooms, wonderul service and only 10 minutes to town this is your place. Not a party type place and kids mays not have enough to keep them occupied. We will definitely be going back.

Quiet and beautiful

This was our first trip to Cabo and I will absolutely return. The hotel was beautiful and super clean. It had great views and very friendly staff. There were a few down falls to this property, it had only one restaurant (but it is amazing), really no concierge to speak of, no coffee in our room and they WILL push your hard to do a time share presentation. We probably won't go back to this resort, would like to have more variety of restaurants but I would definitely recommend it to a friend if they are looking for a nice relaxing stay with a beautiful setting.

Quiet Relaxing Nice Place

Each day was relaxing, the food and servcie at the pool and restaurants was great. Its just the room service that is inefficient - no menus in the room. A great quiet place for family or couples, if you're looking for a party tho you will need to travel into town.

Room with a View!

This was our second stay in Cabo, and it was worth the wait! The Hotel was REMARKABLE! The rooms were some of the best ever, complete with more amenities than you could ask for...very romantic. The pools and bars and restaurants were all top rate. Very cool seating around each pool with some HUGE jacuzzi and fire pit areas. The views from the cliffs were fabulous and this was a great place to get some photos of the Cabo area! We went Para Sailing and Snorkeling by the Arch, and shopped till we dropped at The Marina, with plenty of restaurants to hit as well. We hope you enjoy Tequila...it is everywhere! You get taken around the facility on golf carts and there was free horseback riding as well! This was worth every penny and we will be back for sure! Please enjoy yourselves!!! A must experience!

Relaxing Get-A-Way

If you simply want some peace and quiet in the sun, the Hacienda Encantada is a good choice. The rooms are large with lovely patios, views from almost every room above the first floor. Since we were all inclusive, we only ate at the resort. The food was above average most times, and the choice of drinks was excellent. If you are young and want the action of Cabo, this is not the resort for you, but since we are an older couple in search of warm weather, we loved it!

Dining tip: In Hotel

This hotel does not have a beach. It is on the cliffs looking towards Cabo. You will need a car or taxis to see the sights, but the hotel has a free shuttle for all inclusive guests into their sister hotel in Cabo. The prices for food and drink are expensive if you are not on a package.
