Short walk from hotel
Lots of great resturants outside the "Hotel Zone" by walking 2-3 blocks away from the main street of Cabo San Lucas. Get away from the Marina and enjoy local food, good prices, and the culture of Mexican family night life.

A break from the mundane
My experience at the Bahia was a great one. I was amazed by the two bedroom suite when we walked in. It had a very resort-like feel and it was a very spacious room. The decor was beautiful in the hallway of the hotel as well as in the rooms. The pool has many lounging chairs as well as beds with canopies to relax under. The pool bar was a fun addition. The staff was always helpful when we had questions and the restaurant had great food and awesome live music! The Bahia's location was perfect, 1 block from the beach/restaurants on the beach, and 15-20 minute walk to the marina and into town.

Loved it!
My wife and I had been to Cabo a couple of times on cruise ships, but this was the first land-based trip for me. We picked the Bahia because my wife's brother has stayed there before and liked it, so we gave it a try. We loved it! Quiet pool, comfortable furniture around the pool and no problem with crowds at the pool. The location was perfect. We walked to Medano Beach every day (1 block to The Office, Mango Deck, Edith's, Billygan's) and to the marina just about every evening. The room was very comfortable and roomy. The staff was superb. They did everything to make our stay memorable and comfortable. The Bar Esquina is first class.

Sharky's (across the street), and Gardenia's (3 blocks) for a great, inexpensive fish taco lunch.

A Diamond in the rough.
The staff at the Bahia are great, from the time you step on site, until you leave, they always have a smile for you, a good morning, may I help you in something, anything you need. Wow I have stayed at the surrounding resorts, and let me tell you, the Bahia will leave you speechless. you get to do what you would do at the other resorts. With one exception the Bahia will charge you a reasonable price. I will go back.

I HAD A BALL !!!!!!!
This has to be the best kept secret in Cabo!!! I had all my needs met by a great group of people. Karim I give 5 stars. Great customer service. Mathia (I hope i spelled his name correct) had all the answer. Karla, you couldn't ask for a better person to represent your hotel. With that being said the one person that I give very high marks to is Virginia. She was our housekeeper. She really shines. She would be a great asset anywhere but I'm glad you have her there. My hat goes off to her over and over for making our stay as comfortable and clean as humanly possible. Thank you Virginia for everything!! I will recomend this jewel to my friends who work with me who are waiting for me to give them a review when I come off vacation. Thanks to your staff I have some very fond memories of Cabo.

Time-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
Everything for your entertainment is just a short walk from the hotel. The marina is a couple of blocks, the beach is a block and great dining is right downtown or around the corner. Even here at the hotel the food is good and the bar/pool is a great hangout spot. I met some great people there.

Watch your luggage!
It is a nice hotel to stay in. It has a really good location and the staff is nice except I had a few valuables stolen from my luggage. So, my advice to you is to ALWAYS watch your luggage or make sure they have a lock on.

Location is great, 100 yds from beach & 10 min walk from marina/mall. family loved the place. only thing is there is not a microwave in every room or coffee maker (if you need those things). we upgraded to 2 bed suite and got the amenities.

Chic, hip and a great value!
We had a fabulous romantic stay at the Bahia on our first trip to Cabo. It was exactly what we were looking for...intimate, chic, safe, excellent location, priced right. From the second we pulled up, we knew we selected the right place. The bar was hopping, great lounge tunes where playing and the feel was very hip. (reminded me of a boutique style W hotel) NOTE: There first two floors have the newly renovated rooms...these are a must. We had a pool room on the first floor. We loved everything about the hotel (with a few exceptions: the front desk is a very slow process...allow time for check out! There is no safe in the room, the privacy between next room bathroom is poor)...the room was very stylishly decorated with comfy feather bed, dark wood accents, stylish lighting and wet bar area with microwave. The pool area is also awesome...very intimate with gorgeous swim up palapa pool bar, chic pool beds (4) w/ drapes, nice slatted wood chaise lounges. The pool was nicely tiled and the temp was perfect! Also, the jacuzzi was quite large. We enjoyed being greeted daily by Mattias the doorman and "mayor" of the Bahia. The best part of all is the Bar Esquina on site...what a great vibe and energy. We either had drinks or ate there nightly. Breakfasts are good too. Excellent music on every night...very lounge-y and fun. We have never been fans of all-inclusive type places, but we could definitely see ourselves camping out at the Bahia Hotel and be perfectly happy!

Great deal for the price!
The Bahia Hotel is a great alternative to the larger, busier properties in the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was relaxed and very comfortable. It's close proximity to the center of town was nice too. I would highly recommend the Bahia as an affordable alternative to some of the larger, more expensive resorts. We were very happy with our choice.

Problem Solved
Bahia is a Bad Idea
Great restaurant, bar, and pool area but HORRIBLE rooms & service. -Water pressure cycled every 2 minutes or so from ice cold, slow trickle to burning hot, heavy stream. -Only one chair on the balcony and no chairs in the room. -Balcony lock was completely broken off & there was no safe in the room. -Booked (and paid for) a queen bed, got a double or twin... definitely not a queen. Bed was extremely hard & comforter/sheets were filthy or stained or both. The only thing that we did not question/complain about was water pressure, figuring that it was like that in every room and not a single thing was resolved. They wouldn't even give us the 2nd chair!!
