Loved it!!!

We really loved our hotel!!!The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful! I did lots of research before booking and it paid off. We loved the location. Its out of all the nonsense of the downtown. We had a car so we were free to go everywhere. We went to the downtown for half a day. Its not our thing! Too many people. The area where we stayed reminds me of florida. Very quiet and easy going. The shuttle to the princess is about 2 mins. Very close! And the police don't bother you in this area. We have many friends and most were bothered in the downtown area(if you have a car). It was a very relaxing vacation! We already are planning to go back next year and stay at the same hotel!!

10 minutes down the road from Fairmont they built a new open area outlet mall with lots of food places. Its very nice and has a variety of places to eat. They have sushi, italian, seafood, burgers! Plus in the area is Costco, Sam's Club, and Walmart!

As good as it gets

It gets better each time; and with 20+ years staying at the Pierre that is saying something. The weather is, of course, perfect, and the staff can't do enough to make your stay the best. Treat yourself. This is truly as good as it gets!

Tranquility

Been returning to this hotel for many years. The staff is fantastic. Quieter than the big ones...which is what I like. Smaller hotel, the kind I enjoy. Will be returning again. Great place to get away form the hustle and bustle of life. Cheers to the staff at the Pierre Marquez!

Good but could be better

It´s a good hotel with good amenities. My comments are about the front desk attention...there are few people attending and you can wait in the line forever...maybe because I was there in a long weekend, but they have to consider that kind of things.

Relax in a perfect setting

This was our third visit to the Pierre Marques. We always go for the bargain rooms, which are in "the tower". These rooms are NOT renovated, so that others understand. They are, however, clean and have all you need. Ours had a king bed and a sofa bed, table and chairs, patio, and the bathroom was just fine. Safe in the room. What more do you need for a beach vacation? The pools are gorgeous! We choose the one that looks directly out onto the ocean. They have built a shaded area, so you can relax without worrying about sunburn. The ocean here is just beautiful....green and clean! We loved swimming there. Food is fine; service superb! This resort is close to both the airport and the Diamante bus station. We will return!

There is a free shuttle service between the Pierre Marques and its sister hotel, the Princess. The Princess is much larger and busier, so it is fun to go there for the evening!

Excelent service

It´s a very nice hotel to stay in Acapulco. The food at the hotel is very expensive but very good. Beware of the promotion that kids eat free which is not true. They can only eat lunch and dinner free from the kids menu and it´s not worth it, unless you want to feed your kids with hot dogs, hamburgers and nuggets all the time. The breakfast buffet is very good and if your kids are 12 yeras old or less they can eat for free. The hotel have free transportation between the Fairmont Pierre Marques and the Princess. And as a guest you can use the pool of both resorts. Which, by the way, the pool of the Princess is much more fun for the kids. The service is excellent and one of the best places to stay in Acapulco for sure.

Excellent couple getaway

We've stayed many times here. On this particular occasion, our room's AC was down for a whole day, good thing we didn't spend much of the day in the room. Nevertheless, the hotel apologized with a small coconut filled with mexican candies. We did got a little upset this time because the receptionist tried to fool us, saying he didn't know we had breakfast buffet...anyways, the rest of the staff was as wonderful as always.

Check out the little "tianguis" (mexican market) that is outside the hotel, at the entrance to the public beach. Excellent prices and stuff.
