Great hotel in one of the nicest beaches in Mexico
I had a great experience traveling with my family over Easter week. The hotel is very nice and the staff is really friendly. It has 3 pools, one perfect for little kids, one all purpose and a more secluded one. Gym is really modern and nice and the location is really good -- actually and for those concerned about safety, I did not see anything or feel threatened at any point. The hotel is close to a nice mall and you can pay a US$10 cab to get you there. Also, the airport is 15 minutes away. The hotel also has its own exit to the beach where you can enjoy a very nice view, thin arena and walking sea platform. This is a luxurious hotel -- It is true that the facilities are a bit outdated but they are in very good condition so do not let anyone to fool you -- so expect to pay US$25 for breakfast buffet or US$35 for dinner buffet. Kids under 5 do not pay and older kids pay half price. Try The Italian restaurant inside which is delicious. For avoiding some extra charges -- gym and internet -- get your Fairmont President Club membership prior to reservation. Have fun!

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
Go to La Granja for breakfast or the new mall La Isla, that has many options for shopping and dining. Hotel cab should charge you only US$12 for a one-way ride. Ask to be picked up for your return so you avoid the hassle of getting a cab there.
