A clean, secure and friendly environment. The staff was great not everyone spoke English, but who would expect that. Check in went smooth, Carlos at the front desk did not speak English but he work hard to communicate, and was in my room within
ten minutes of arriving. Carlos should be recognized for his ability to be accommodating even with a language barrier. The location was great and the streets were safe. I was traveling alone and felt safe even after sunset. Checkout also went smooth. I highly recommend. this hotel.
Great private beach with access to the main beach. No breakfast included. Eat on the street nearby (within walking distance). Breakfast is 20 bucks per person, but it is good. Rooms are spacious and clean. Toilets have seat covers. Overall a great
hotel for any part of the world.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short walk from hotel
Go to the Mojito for upscale night out. Lots of Salsa, Bachata, Cumbia etc. No wild kids.
lovely surprise to find a room on the 8th floor with a wrap around balcony and a amazing view. great breakfast and I wish we would have stayed there instead of the stay at a "time share resort". Not as lovely.
I had a great experience with this hotel. It was a holiday weekend and the hotel I normally stay in was full. That was lucky for me. This hotel has been recently refurbished and was clean and felt like a new hotel. It is perfectly located near
everything. Great private beach cove. Most importantly the staff was helpful. Paula at the front desk helped me with several things and she and others seem to actually enjoy their jobs. Great service. Really, I never write reviews and I am often negative about hotels, but my experience was so good that I decided to write one this time. We left for a day to go to Pie de la Cuesta, but decided to come back early for another day at this hotel. It is right next to El Presidente, a hotel whose rooms haven't been renovated since the 70's and at another hotel--I've blocked the name out--I got locked in the bathroom for an hour. It can be hit or miss with Acapulco hotels. This is where I will stay from now on.
