Budget-friendly beachfront rooms, amenities on Acapulco’s Playa Condesa
The Hotel El Presidente offers modest, affordable accommodations on Condesa Beach, in the heart of Acapulco's Golden Zone where visitors find a cosmopolitan mix of shopping, restaurants and nightlife. Acapulco's famous cliff diving shows take place about four miles from the Hotel El Presidente, and attractions within a mile of the hotel include the Acapulco golf course, convention center and the CiCi Waterpark. Old, deteriorated, sad hotel.

Choose another hotel

It is a beautiful location. But it is surrounded by hotels with working elevators, working internet in the rooms (you know because you can pick up the other hotel's internet--but you don't have the code) and recently painted. The hotel needs a lot of work. The worse part is that you could stay in a great hotel for the same price near by. We decided to leave even though we had paid for two days on Orbitz. Tip--if you don't know a hotel, just pay for one day until you see the actual place.

Spend $40 and rent a jet ski. It gives you a whole new view of Acapulco.

Super deal and great golf course nearby!

My wife and I stayed there for a long weekend. I loved the view it has of Acapulco bay and the beach is fantastic. It is really close to Acapulco bay's golf course, which is very nice and really inexpensive. There are a lot of bars, restaurants and attractions within walking distance. To be fair, it could use some remodeling but it is a very nice, well maintained, clean and very well located hotel. And for the price, it can not get any better than this. I fully recommend it!

Fantastic View and Great Location

The hotel is greatly located within walking distance of many great and diverse dinning, entertainment and shopping options. Ocean view rooms have the best bay view of Acapulco. Service was very friendly, especially from reservations manager [...]. I fully recommend it!

Traditional Hotel i.e. Old Hotel

We went as a business and a leisure trip. We arrived to an old hotel (I guess this is the equivalent of Traditional Hotel) without any remodeling. They sent us to a room that was already occupied. We said we would return @ 13:00 to see if the had the right room by then because we had thing to do. One room had a really big trouble to open the door, even the staff would take around 5 minutes to open it. They charge for local calls $1.50 USD. The rooms are REALLY small and the one they gave us was with the view to the hotel next to it (Fiesta Inn). For a tourist that doesn't know Acapulco "Costera" means the main street of Acapulco, where most of the hotels are on. When cheking out, I was still reviewing my tab when they call another customer to wait on.
