The best in Acapulco

The hotel is located in the best area of Acapulco. Since you get into the hotel lobby everybody is friendly and courteous. All areas in the hotel are very clean and well maintained. The room had a very nice view of the Bahia, also clean and well maintained. My best choice in many trips to this beutiful place. I enjoyed every day that I stayed in this hotel. Like I said the best hotel to stay in Acapulco. You need to be there to enjoy it.

Disapointed this time

"we are almost complete" that what the manager says when I complain about the quality of the room. The ventilation noise from the kitchen was anoing day and night, and the smells are discusting. We ask to change room and everything became as usual, good enough for the price. Restaurant: expensive but good enough.

Powerful Shower

We had a warm welcome after a long trip. Had a good night sleep in a comfortable bed. Then the highlight of our one night stay - the shower which is mighty powerful with lots of good hot water and refreshing.

View from every room is worth a million

The Cano is still an excellent hotel, in spite of the many years it has been operating. Clean with a view that is worth a million from every room. Except for the total lack of services after 11PM, no room service, not any possibility for evern a Coke.

Hotel El Cano

While my son and I stayed at this hotel, we went to El Cici(water park)Swam with dolphines, went to the beach, ate the yummy food at the restaurant and of course just relaxed by the pool. The view from our room was amazing! Everything was fine, until one of the hotel drivers from the valet parking almost run over my son and I while we were walking. The driver was very rude and didn't even apoligized. My 7yr. old son, got scared and thought the driver wanted to hit us. I went and complained at the front desk, which I dout they even talk to this person. Besides that insident, every one else was great.

Great Location, Great Value

We stayed at Hotel El Cano for two days and it was very clean and comfortable. We spent the first night in the pool and our second day on the beach. We had breakfast at the hotel as it was convenient. The breakfast buffet was good but slightly expensive. At the beach we had a messenero (waiter) bringing us drinks in between spending time in the ocean Very relaxing. Our room was on the 8th floor and we had good views but could hear the boom, boom, boom of the nightlife late in the morning. Second night we closed the door to the balcony.

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

The hotel is a short walk from the playa condesa where some of the nightlife like Paradise and Barbaroja is. It's also not far from Baby O and El Abrije for the youngins.
