First Class service, food excellent, staff very helpful and friendly. Nice little touches. Classed as a 3 star hotel but guess that is because there is no lift or luxury toiletries. Otherwise this is a 5 star place and we will be going
Don't worry about the lift so much the porters take your luggage up. We stayed on the 4th (top floor# with a sea view #by request) and it was fabulous, the views as well as the tame birds that come to visit.
The trip to "Ile aux Cerfs" is well worth it.
Being on the East Coast there are no High rise, loud pubs etc. it is just peaceful seclusion.
We travel all over the world both business and pleasure and I can honestly say this was one of my favourite holidays.
We will be going back hopefully in January.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
The Cash Machines are few and far between. The 2 machines at the Airport did not work. The hotel will give cash against your debit card but charge 6%. Cash is most widely used rather than card so get your money in cash or traveller cheques before you set off.
