Beautiful Mauritius
We LOVED our beach front room. The staff at this hotel really work hard at making your stay a fantastic expereince. This hotel is perfect for those who want a beach/pool hotel vacation, to drive to tourists sights rental car is needed and most sights are 30 or minutes away. They also have a FREE kids club for children 2 and above. There is some room for improvement for the dining experience as there is only one place to eat for each meal or you have to order from the very small room service menu. No food/snacks can be ordered in the bar which is a crime! Internet access is super expensive then can only be accessed in the main lobby so if you want internet you wont get it at the pool, beach or in your room. They do not provide an iron for the guests nor will they allow housekeeping to provide you with one so if you bring nice clothes, be prepared you have to pay to have them ironed. They have wonderful free things like snorkle gear, glass bottom boat etc... but make your activity reservation early :)

A bit of a disappointment really
The hotel has great possibilities for different kind of activities such as snorkelling. However we had some issues: we had to call the maintenance like 7 times since everything started to fall a part in the hotel room (AC, bathroom light (twice), the safety deposit box, balcony door, even the bathroom faucet..). Bedsheets smelled damp. The restaurant had hygiene issues with birds flying around (the chairs were really dirty hence the birds) and there were cockroaches running in peoples feet. The hotel is going into renovation which shows in its current state. Currently not up to Mövenpick standards.
