You Get what you pay for
Having read several reviews of this hotel on several sites and having travelled extensively both for business and pleasure I always take most negative criticism with a pinch of salt. The hotel location was ideal for what we had planned and the price was extreemely reasonable for a four star Hotel. However, like others, I have to say this hotel has far to go to be a truly Four Star establishment, unless that is the standards are lower in Malta than elswhere. I paid and extra 84 Euros (total for 4 persons) for a room upgrade and was glad I did. It was classified as a superior room, so I would hate to see a standard one. The fridge nor the Aircon were working correctly but it was clean, comfortable and had a nice view considering 70% of all Malta hotels just overlook other buildings. If as I do, you only use the room for sleeping in, then its perfectly adequate. The Breakfast is fine but I wouldn't bother with evening meals unless you go all inclusive, the food also is not 4 star to put it politely. The pool is very small but food and drink from the bar is very cheap. In Summary, it was a pleasent stay and as I said it was far from 4 star but then the room rate wasnt 4 star either. I have said I wouldnt recommend the hotel however compared with others at a similar price, if you're on a budget then I might but definately upgrade to a superior room

We booked excursions for the whole week and saved on the deal too. we Paid 240 euros for 4 people for 7 days excursions and they were all great. must have seen every inch of Malta, Gozo and comino

The staff were pleasant and helpful, however, I'd not have classed it as a four stars hotel, as I've previously stayed at others, which were of a much higher standard all round, in regards to cleanliness, amenities and mod cons (for example, the lack of tea/coffee making faciltiies within the room). The room was basic. Don't stay at the back of the hotel, if you're a light sleeper and can't stand dog noise, which's almost constant, as we'd to move because of it. The breakfasts are fairly good. I'd recommend staying at the nearby hotel apartments/suites, as they're much better all round, which's where they moved us to in the end.

Hotelli oli neljän tähden hotelli ja ymmärrän, että tähdet eivät ole suomeen verrattavissa. Huoneessa oli hometta joka oli suurin huolenaihe, hissi temppuli ja meinasi jättää meidän kerrosten väliin, näinollen sitä ei uskaltanut käyttää vaan kävelimme rappuset neljänteen kerrokseen.

Short drive from hotel
Oma auto on hyvä olla, koska välimatkat kohteiseen bussilla kestivät turhan pitkään. Liikenne oli suomalaisellekin varsin toimiva, vaikka sääntöjä ei noudatetakkaan samalla tavalla kuin suomessa.
