Modern convenience, ideally located for business or pleasure

Hotel Sentral Good Value and easy

Centrally located in downtown KL, recently built. Very good breakfast included and very well run. Great location right at the train terminal and just a couple minutes taxi from the KLIA express line. Good value for the money.

The hotel was clean and the rooms

The hotel was clean and the rooms small but nice. very near central. Breakfast was average. Would not recommend for family stay but ok for one or two nights.

Good Location for Free and Easy traveler

We were using the centralized hotel as a convenient point for our pilgrimage to a town north of Kuala Lumpur. We were able to walk over to the Railway station to take a trip to Rawang a 50 min journey north of Kuala lumpur for only slightly above US$1 one way price.For the trips to Chinatown a monorail just in front of hotel provided easy ascessibilty.To top it all a surprise buffet voucher for two persons was given ...as we thought the price was for room stay only.The room is clean as it is a new hotel

pro's and con's

The Hotel Sentral is what it says on the can. Close to the Sentral Station which can take to most locations you may wish to go,Singapore/Thailand for example. Across the road from the KL Sentral line of the Monorail. Monorail is great, frequent and cheap and gets you to most places of interest. The rooms are of good size, mine was a corner with views to two sides, bathroom was excellent, bed was clean and comfortable - providing a good nights sleep. Only negative was the sofa, which had seen better days (minor problem) Area was in Little India (according to cab driver) who said predominant visitors to this area were Asian - I found the mix was diverse, although some staff seemed unsure with Europeans/Westerners. Reception staff were efficient, pleasant and helpful. I was able to leave my luggage after having checked out; being given receipt for tags put on bags, and more importantly, having them scrutinised before returning my bags to me. Food was good, if you expect full English, then be prepared to compromise. Endless coffee, cooked to order omelette, toast and preserves etc. Good enough for me. But do try some of the other food on offer, you never know - you may be surprised. Good value, would stay again, if you're in transit with short overnight stay, then you choose a better hotel for value or for location.

Use the Monorail - staff are helpful even though they are busy. Tell them what you want to see and they will send you to the nearest or simplest station to get you there. I had a 3/4 minute walk from the monorail to the twin towers (great shopping mall there, lovely park area and plenty of eateries serving everything you would want.

The hotel is conveniently located

The hotel is conveniently located for transportation but the neighbourhood is very bad. The staff and hotel premisses are all fine. I woulod like to stay here again becuase of the ease of transportation and the personnel of the hitel are polite.

Wish I Could Live There!! It's Wonderful

Hotel Sentral is my favorite hotel in KL. Superb location for transit needs, incredibly clean rooms, and a welcoming Reception staff always with a smile on their face. After staying there recently, I happened to have an unexpected canceled flight a week later in KL, forcing a 2-day delay. I was actually happy to return to Hotel Sentral for 2 more nights. New, clean, great value, and a friendly knowledgeable staff.

A convenient and nice hotel to

A convenient and nice hotel to stay near Sentral Station and in the midst of Little India - Brickfields. I enjoyed my stay here and staff were very helpful. The breakfast was very good and bar and restaurant also had lovely food.

Although the area around the hotel

Although the area around the hotel is a bit dodgy, the hotel itself was really great and fabulous. Interior was clean and room was very comfortable, definitely worth the price that you are paying for.
