Hotel Capitol Kuala Lumpur

I booked two superior rooms at this hotel thru [website]. In [website] reservation, it stated that either twin or one queen double bed available but in reality, I found out that for superior level there is no double room and only twin beds. Only deluxe room has double bed. However, when I told the check in staff that I need a double bed in at least one room and we indicate our preference as double bed in booking slip give me an edge in argument and they decided to upgrade our room. The location is really good for those who are on shopping trip. For driver, there is no carpark at hotel and have to park at shopping ctr nearby with complimentary.

The Capitol is located in a great position. Near to the Monorail, malls / shops, Alor street for night eating and the bar street. I don't know why they have stopped including breakfast with the room price, as they used to do a really good breakfast. So if you want breakfast walk up to MacDonalds opposite the Monorail station. This time I stayed in a standard room and standard is definitely better value. They rate their rooms delux and superior...extremely confusing what is the difference when you read delux and superior??? And what is standard??? Go on the prices. The delux rooms are far too light and the wooden blinds might look good but the light they let in in the morning is horrific, especially if you spent half of the previous night slouched over a bar in bar street. Why they supply razors defeats me too. Every time I have used a 'supplied'razor I have thrown it after the first stroke...blunt and deadly. Anyway I will stay there again as is convenient.

The Capitol is a good deal all around, when it comes to quality/price and location. This was my second stay and there have been some renovations recently. Best suited for a short stay, as the facilities are a bit limited. Staff are very helpful and responsive. Internet access was a bit dodgy. They charge RM 15 per day for wired in-room access. Free wi-fi is available in the lobby coffee shop. Tv programming very limited. But since the room was very clean and comfortable, I would go back for a brief visit, anytime.

checking in were fast. rooms were clean & c/w spacious toilet. Only complaint were the loud music band opposite the hotel. My low floor room faces directly so the noise were unbearable from evening time till 2am... Other than that, good locations with shopping, food & easy public transport all within stone throw away.

No swimming pool (my kids were very disappointed). Very noisy especially on late nights during the weekends. Washroom is spacious and layout is appealing. Very happy with the toiletries pack.

I had a complimentary upgrade from a friendly staff. It was my 2nd return and the standard of cleanliness is as great as before. You will be surprised at the cleanliness. It's in the heart of Bukit Bintang, what else can I say? I got to check in at 11+ in the morning which was as soon as I arrived. That was fast and I'm impressed!

the location of the hotel is very good and service was also good ,however the facility of the room is very basic but i think it is sufficient according to the charges we had to request changing the room as the flush system of the toilet was not working TV did not contain any Arabic channel breakfast was not included in my package ,however the breakfast did not worth and can be taken in any near restaurant the cleanness was good as clean towels and cloths were provided daily ,however when we removed the bed cloth ,there were a stain on the matres which we were not happy of

Great location, very close to many food areas. Easy to catch monorail and train. Short walk to Pentrosa towers. Very friendly staff. lovely room. Would definately stay again.

I always stay here when i am in KL. Very happy as always - great price and good service. Clean too - which can be hard to come by in BB.

Был в этом отеле 2 дня в начале апреля 2011. Расположение отеля очень удобное. Все чисто,аккуратно. Не понравилось только то, что в цену не входит завтрак. Собственно ерунда конечно, просто очень редко сейчас можно встретить отель без завтрака :))). И интернет только платный. 5 долл в сутки. Мелочь, но неприятно!
