Strategically located Hotel

The hotel was great in terms of cleanliness and amenities, located just 15 minutes away Grand Lisboa. We had horrible experience though waiting for the shuttle bus from the airport we waited for like an hour and ended up picking up a taxi. Never realized that we need to book the shuttle from the airport. Well nobody speaks English in Macau. The swimming pool was under repair so wasn't able to swim. Bed was so comfy. I would probably book here again.

Nice hotel, but....

Great location, super comfortable, quiet and clean room. Friendly and helpful stuff. Now a problem. The reason why I booked this hotel is for fitness center and swimming pool. Well, both are under construction!!!! At the time of the booking no information about that was on the listing page.

Great quiet hotel that does not cut corners

This hotel is in a quiet neighborhood but not too far from the casino if you walk for about 10 minutes. The amenities is a very solid 4-5 star. It is not a fake 4 star.

Good spot away from the casinos

Great check-in staff, ownderful staff in Fado Restaurant who made dining alone and great experience,. as did the food and wine. Clean, fresh room. Smoking floors available -- always a HUGE plus and good value for money. Great for walking in "old Macau" and Fado really is fine dining. Most satisfied.

Dining tip: In Hotel

Fado's tasting menu is excellent. At about $100 plus great wines by the glass, this is a bargain. Dining alone is rarely great, but the staff made this an excellent experience even for one.

Great and comfortable place

I would definitely recommend this hotel. About a 10 minute pleasant walk into historic center. Surrounding area is also nice. Staff is friendly and room was clean. The amenities such as the swimming pool and fitness area are very well kept. Free shuttle from the ferry plus drop off at several casinos. Great air conditioning. Very pleasant stay.

A beautiful hotel in a great location

Located just below Guia Park, yet within walking distance of the casinos, Senado Square and the old town morning market. The Royal has a professional staff and is clean to a fault. It boasts a very nice indoor pool. My sweetheart and I will definitely stay here again.
