Basic but good value for money hotel
We stayed at the hotel for a week while visiting Macau. The hotel is in a good location, within walking distance of the major casinos, Galaxy and Venetian.

Great Hotel!
The location is pretty good for people who wants to go to the casino or else it is far away from the main attractions (central area). But from the boarder gate to this hotel only cost $62.5 mop, which is a little less then $10 USD. The cheapest way to get there is to take free shuttle from other hotels, such as Galaxy Hotel and walk 10 to 15 minutes or take taxi ( beware if you can't speak Cantonese, taxi driver might take the long route, but pay no more then $20 mop). The staffs is nice and the room is clean. Beware if you are not a couple because of their glass window in the shower room, but they have a curtain.

Our room was newly renovated and thus in very good conditions. Though it is slightly more expensive than we would expect, it is almost the cheapest for a reasonable hotel in Taipa area during this period.

Clean hotel with comfort room.
Clean hotel with comfort room. The check in time suppose to be at 2pm however we reach at 1pm and the staff is so friendly and willing to let us check in earlier. Easy access as there is a bus station right outside the hotel.

Quite a experience for 1st timer,
Quite a experience for 1st timer, there is NO assistance to lead us to the queue for shuttle bus and hotel sign-board being blocked time wasted finding. Driver did not ask which hotel we're going thus ends up alighting at the sister hotel and wasted 20 minutes to wait for the next shuttle bus.

My wife and our guests had a great
My wife and our guests had a great time staying at the Grandview Hotel. We had executive suites and the rooms were lovely and the maids fantastic. The beds were very comfortable with soft pillows and comforters. Very close to the shopping mart and Taipa Village where we like to go for dining. Wonderful experience for all of our group.

Awesome room for an awesome price
The front desk was great, the room was large and clean. Newly renovated, true to the listing. In an area convenient to both the Taipa Village and the more upscale casinos (Galaxy, The Venetian, City of Dreams). Bus stop right around the corner to take you to the sights on the main peninsula. 5 minute-ish drive to airport by taxi. No airport shuttle, unfortunately. The best hotel I've stayed at in China, without question.

You can walk pretty much anywhere on both the island and the peninsula or take the bus if you'd rather. 33 takes you from the hotel to the peninsula and back. But if you're headed to the peninsula, make sure you grab one of the free tourist maps from the front desk: the streets of the main city twist and turn and can easily have you walking in circles to find a major landmark.
