Its time for them to change the
Its time for them to change the bed. I have been staying in this hotel since 2005 and i guess there are hardly any spring in the mattress. It will always be my choice of hotel due to the size of the room and it warmness.

all just nice for the price offer...
all just nice for the price offer... just the bed over here really hard... restaurant just next road to the hotel. city shuttle bus can take over there as well.

The beds are hard but bearable,
The beds are hard but bearable, in terms of cleanliness the hotel was clean but the bathroom could be even cleaner, when we arrived there were 2 hairs on the bathtub and another hair on the sink. The rubber mat could be cleaner as well. I noticed that when we had our room cleaned they didn't vacuum the carpet, which makes me think if they do vacuum at all. One of the glasses in the room had a crack on it. Our complimentary water arrived only on the second day after we checked-in. Front desk personnel can speak basic english which is good but the housekeeping services don't which is very frustrating. Anyways, I'd rate this hotel 5 out of 10. I like the location cuz its in the heart of town, and I like the shuttle services which is very very convenient. I'd go back but maybe I'd pick another room next time. thanks!

room was upgraded to deluxe free
room was upgraded to deluxe free of charge as per promo w/c was very good. however, food is very bad, we tried their lunch, soup of the day was the worst soup i ever tasted, my family & i thought breakfast will be better, it was the same. the hotel must check on this issue as they will attract more guests if they will improve their food. staff is not very helpful w/information & directions. i don't think there will be a second time for us at this hotel.

Very helpful service. Booked a superior room with extra bed but got a free upgrade to a family room! The lights in the room could be brighter. A pity, there was no free shuttle bus service from the airport.

the bedding was very hard and
the bedding was very hard and also the pillows. i expected a little bit better for the price. the restuarant for dinner was not up to standard. not impressed. foyer and staff were excellent and helpful. shuttle bus service is good although we only used it for the ferry to hong kong. close to local buses which were easy to use and inexpensive. a peaceful hotel with a tree outlook.

Not non-Chinese speaking tourist friendly. Staff can hardly speak or understand English. The Hotel has no shuttle service to the Airport or sea port.

The hotel bed needs to be changed
The hotel bed needs to be changed as there ain't any spring within. Its better to sleep on the carpet floor. Minimum choice of food for breakfast and some rooms have very ugly smell. We were changed to another floor upon noticing the smell the moment we enter the room. Will stay somewhere else unless they change the mattress.
