Great, quaint, and modern

A very great stay for the price! The staff were enormously helpful when my husband and I needed help looking for a nearby Catholic church. We arrived early morning and they kept our luggage and also had our room ready EARLY. Coffee in the lobby was a delight and breakfast was okay. We were right by the Akasaka metro station so that made traveling very easy. Shiseido amenities, toothbrush, and razor were all included! The biggest challenge was getting up a steep hill from the A station or even through the TBS building were tons of stairs/one escalator. Not ideal for luggage carrying, so you should get a taxi or like us.. got extra exercise!

Tourist holiday to Tokyo

The hotel is outstanding. Me and my friend used it as a base to explore Tokyo from, it's ideally situated close to the Akasaka metro station, and well within Tokyo city. The staff were very warm, welcoming and helpful, their English was pretty good too :) Although the rooms are quite small by European standards, by Tokyo standards they are roomy, either way they are well proportioned and have enough space to store what you bring, a bit lacking on hanging space but good amount of shelving. The room was always clean and fresh. Breakfast wasn't particularly appetising, it was the same every day, but there is a good amount of choice so should be able to find something to suit (or Starbucks and Subway at the metro station) The restaurant and bar serve very tasty food for lunch and dinner (at extra charge) but we'll worth eating there if you want to stay in the area, alternatively Akasaka town-center is brimming with restaurants and bars, and only 5/10mins walk away. Really really enjoyed our stay here, it's a great value hotel in a lovely neibourhood. Definitely will return to this hotel.

Time-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Don't walk from Akasaka-mitsuke station! Arrive at Akaska metro station, use exit 3b (TBS), walk under the covered walkway as it bends right, keep walking and straight in front of you you'll see some concrete pillars. Behind these there is an elevator that will take you up the hill (don't walk it, it's a killer) When you get to the top, keep walking straight (a slight turn to your left at the end of the lift ramp) and the hotel is right in front of you :) 5 mins from Akasaka, 25 from Akasaka-mitsuke.

Location, Location, Location

This is hotel, represent, awesome staff, clean place, and location ways is incredible, close to the Akasaka green line (you can go anywhere from there) the restaurant at the hotel was good as well (Italian), rooms are small but comfy, we just needed to sleep, WI-FI is good and again you cannot beat the location. Across the street from TBS. Dryers don't work that well, make sure you have ask for a non-smoking room.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

you can find multiple options of cuisine and affordable, as Tokyo is very expensive. Walk by the Akasaka metro and get into the side streets, there are restaurant, coffee shops and small local shops.

Tokyo getaway

The hotel is located about 8 minutes walk from subway station Akasaka. The direction to hotel (from station) was not clear on their website. we had to ask locals for direction to get to the hotel. The ecomony double room we got was extremely small (about 13sm?). There's hardly any spare space to swing your arms with just two carry-on luggage! we had to crawl on top of each other to get out the bed. we understood this is Tokyo and space is a premium, but did not expect a double room to be that small. The aircondition is centrally control, which was HOT during March... staff suggested we turn off aircond and open window. Unfortunately, we were at level 2 (first floor) and window open to apartments just next to window... it was a small opening, anyway. Akasaka is a business district, so it was pretty quiet after 6pm. Staff are friendly.

Good for the price

Nice and clean but the rooms are very small. There is also a metro stop nearby, but the bottom line is that its very tight for two people. If you are staying alone it should be fine.

Quick Night in Tokyo

Overall the hotel was ok. Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke English. Location was pretty far from station and there was no wifi in the room (only in lobby). Breakfast was also ok but crowded.

Perfect stay

We enjoyed three nights at this hotel. We arrived fairly late due to the flight schedule and the first thing happening at the hotel was the staff greeting us by name. The room is quite small but functional and sparkling clean. The bathroom is indeed only separated but a glass wall, so this is something to get used too. The shower is awesome, a rainforest shower type with many heads and sufficient water pressure. The breakfast is okay with many western and Japanese choices providing a good start into the day. There is a free Saeco coffee machine in the lobby making way better coffee than what is provided at breakfast. The hotel is indeed located at a steep hill, however, a public lift eases that and circumvents any climbing. Fortunately, the lift is right by the metro station.
