Shinjuku Washington Hotel Tokyo

The hotel is at a great location, within walking distance from Shinjuku station and shops and facilities in Shinjuku. I also like the fact that it is where the airport limousine picks up and drops off passengers. The staff is very attentive and helpful, especially those at the hotel information desk. A convenience store on the first floor is another plus for purchase of small items like toiletries, fruits, water, etc. On the negative side, the facilities are older given that the hotel is old. The rooms are very small. Unlike other reviewers, we did not find that air-conditioning too bad. The TV channels that the hotel provides are basic, do not include English channels and are boring. But it is a cheap hotel and affordable for a family of 4 that requires 2 rooms.

Very simple to get around by walking. Things are in walking distance. Downtown Shinjuku is like Times Square, shopping avaialable, great food.

Very nice stay at the hotel! well situated

rooms were tiny, though location was fine...as was shuttle service from Narita...Area is Skycraper district but fine for Shinjuku Station and lots of giant stores. Hotel very industrial....mechanical mass service...but fine for a functional purpose of "overnighting"

Hotel staff was very helpful and there is an English speaking desk in the lobby for foreign visitors. Yes, the rooms are small, but this is the norm for the area. Yes, the rooms were warm as others have said. Overall though, a nice hotel. Great location as it is connected to the Shinjuku station. Rooms were nicely renovated. It is nice having the 24 hour convenience store located on the first floor of the hotel.

A clean, modern and accommodating Business Hotel on the West side of Shinjuku. A short walk to the JR station and Bus Terminal. The west side isn't as exciting as the East side, but you are a short walk away from the noise, lights and craziness of Kabukicho, shops and restaurants on the East side. The best sized room we have had in Japan. The first stay we had a large room with added small sun room and the second stay we had a massage chair in our room. Both stays were well worth it. I would recommend this hotel any day.

Large, super efficient business hotel used to catering foreign guests. We were pretty self sufficent, so appreciated fast check in & check out(foreign counter for questions as well), massage lounge chair in our rm after a long day exploring and limo bus to airport (saved time and comparable to train $).

The Rooms are small and the beds are hard but after a long day of walking in hilly japan you pass out on the bed right away despite what it feels like. apprx 10 minute walk from the train station which is not bad at all, just make sure you carry around a shinjuku map with the hotel and station on it because it is hard to remember where it is which all of the bright lights everywhere. its also hard to leave shinjuku station so remember which entrance/exit is best for you, shinkjuku station is HUGE. The hotel is overall doable and because prices for everything is really high in japan, its nice to save some money on the hotel so you can have money for food and shopping

Great location & decent sized rooms however there is no ventilation causing the rooms to be very humid with the air conditioning doing nothing to fix the problem. The only real help the hotel will provide to fix this problem is to open the window which doesn't really make much difference.
