Excellent situation right next
Excellent situation right next to Shinigawa station which is one of the major hubs in Tokyo. Excellent facilities on site and good service from all of the staff. This is a very large hotel and is very busy in the shared areas but rooms are comfortable and quiet.

This hotel was our first hotel
This hotel was our first hotel experience in Japan. The location was fantastic, walk 100m from the train station and you are there. The staff were great and spoke very good english. The only downfall of the hotel is that it didnt have complimentarty internet, it cost 1050 yen for one day. Overall, I would stay there again.

Brilliant location. Literally
Brilliant location. Literally a two minute walk from the Shinagawa JR train station which is a main rail hub and can get you almost anywhere in both Tokyo and Japan. The room was clean, admittedly the hotel is beginning to show its age, the room was certainly not big, but for a hotel room it was fine, I was only in it to sleep.

The hotel is excellently located
The hotel is excellently located near Shinagawa Station. As this was our first trip to Japan, we found this to be to be very convenient for sightseeing. Our twin room was located in the main tower, had excellent amenities and was very clean and spacious. Would recommend the Green Cleaning service, where you receive a gift voucher for 500 yen per person (redeemable at any of the hotel shops or restaurants) in lieu of daily room clean. Also the 7/11 store just outside the hotel is great for picking up cheap meals. Would definitely stay here again.

We booked and stayed in the Twin
We booked and stayed in the Twin Room for 4N from 2010 Feb 10-14. The hotel location is very good, directly opposite the Shinagawa JR station in less than 5 minutes walk. The room is clean and neat, considerably spacious in terms of Japan standard, and the room pricing is comparably cheap for a Twin Room booking during then. The service staff is polite and friendly.

The location of hotel is quite
The location of hotel is quite convenient and close to Shinagawa station; shingansen, JR line, Toei Line, Tokyo Metro line, etc. The supermarket around there closed at 11pm. Not to difficult to find out food shop/restuarant. From/to airport, there is airport limosine stop in front of hotel so it's easy to access.

We did our booking when 50% reduced
We did our booking when 50% reduced rate was on offer so it was certainly great value. The room is compact, but sufficient and has most of the amenities we need, great being on a non-smoking floor. SPH is just opposite Shinagawa JR station so if you have a JR pass it is most convenient for getting around Tokyo. The service is exceptional in that they not only provide us with the usual tourist maps, but help us with specific places we wanted to go to. They even help us wheel our luggage across to the station when they saw us juggling with our luggage. This is the second time I have stayed there and will do so again.

Our 32nd floor room had a great view of the City. On one day we could see Mt. Fuji. Ideal location close to many rail lines. Room good size by Tokyo standards. Light colors and great aircon. Long lines for breakfast at weekends.
