Mediocre, but great value
I stayed at this hotel for four nights recently. I wanted a non-smoking room, but they gave me a smoking room, which smelled extremely strongly like smoke. The room had a lot of dust behind the desk. They charge for you to get a small router to use wi-fi (500 Yen a night), otherwise there is a cable in the room to get Internet access if you have an ethernet port on your computer. The price was amazing and the location was great, too, right near Shinagawa station. The room got extremely hot during the day. The East Tower lobby was about 10 degrees F warmer than the Main Tower, and this was reflected in the rooms, too. It was a very hot room that only cooled down at night. Otherwise, it was a good experience and the rooms were cheap.

Pathetic
Room was clean and adequate, location pretty good, but experience was otherwise appalling. The breakfast menu was so bad and so expensive that I left the hotel every morning to find food. The so-called gym was so far away that I got most of my exercise just getting there, and then they charged extra and would not accept a room charge. I had to pay cash. I'll stay elsewhere on my next trip.
