Good quality, modern. Location is ok, yet not perfect

An entrance very impressive, rooms a bit less impressive though modern, spacious (for Japanese standards) and convenient. Though the website claims a very good location, I am more of mixed opinion about it: the neighbourhood is certainly good and pleasant. However, there is no big tube or train station in a walking distance. The hotel provides shuttle service which works very well.

excellent comfort

My stay here was excellent. It is fantastically located. There is a subway station steps away but there is also a free shuttle service from.the hotel to two major rail hubs. The arquitecture is beautiful. Staff is polite and very efficient. I loved it.

Vacation in Tokio

Sheraton Miyako has a great location, very close to some important rail and subway hubs, its shuttle service to and from Meguro station makes it really easy to move through the city. The staff is really kind and eager to help, its breakfast buffet is good and fairly priced. We really had a great stay.

Very convenient location

The Shirokanedai metro is 5 mins by walk. A 711 opposite that is a life saver for quick ATM access for international debit cards and quick breakfast picks. Shuttle to Shinagawa station is useful for bullet train connections. All the major shopping districts in Tokyo are less than 30 mins by metro rides.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

There is a lot happening around the Meguro metro station .. use that to wind down for the day before you return to the hotel.

Fantastic

Overall experience was very good. Food by room service was wonderful, though food at the restaurants were high priced. The room is clean, and neat. Hotel staffs are polite. There was no description re: where the swimming pool is in the hotel guide, but the pool itself was wonderful. They do not allow any kids younger than 6.

Money-saving tip: Long walk from hotel

There are supermarkets within 5 min walk to west, 10min walk to east. The room has a refrigirator and you can store quite a bit to save money.

The Prize of Tokyo

I had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton Miyako. I wouldn't hesitate staying there on my next visit to Japan. My hat's off to the staff! They are very friendly and cordial. I found them to be knowledgeable about everything from soup to nuts and most willing to graciously share their insights. My room was generously spaced, it contained alot more room than one would anticipate. The toiletries were well stocked and in abundance. They were not the cheap dime store imitations. On a lighter note, I recommend the desserts that are on the room service menu. Lastly take a city tour, even if you've been to Tokyo before, such as I have, Tokyo always has something new and unique to discover in the obvious!

Triple Room

Triple rooms are very hard to find in Tokyo, so I was limited in my choices but happy that we landed in the Sheraton. The room was spacious by Tokyo standards and very comfortable for myself and my 2 teens. My only complaint was an apparent discrepancy between the gym equipment available for women vs. men. The women's exercise room had no weight machines, only a few dumbbells, but I'm fairly sure the men's side had machines. There were aerobic machines available for both genders but the other equipment is accessed through the locker room, so women can't get to the weight machines.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

If you make the 10-15 in. walk to Meguro station instead of taking the hotel bus, you'll pass by a 100 yen shop that my kids loved for finding small gifts.
