Great location, super staff
This is a perfect hotel for tourists doing sightseeing in Tokyo. The hotel is conveniently located near 2 JR rail stations and 2 separate subway lines (5-10 min walk depending on which one you are trying to get to). It's about a 10 minute walk from the Edo museum and 15 minutes from Akihabara. The location really could not be better. The rooms are small but very clean and quiet. The staff is simply amazing and all staff members were extremely helpful and spoke excellent English. The hotel has a lounge area with free wifi which is very convenient. Excellent room value!

This conveniently placed hotel
This conveniently placed hotel perfectly suited our last night before flying out of Tokyo. With easy access to the Metro and cafes, this neat hotel wows with easy access and incredibly kind and helpful staff. All were polite and helpful, but one young lady stood out in particular. She did everything humanly possible to help us dial international on our mobile, as well as offer printing service for our emails. This hotel has a new coin-operated laundry and drier, free Internet point and wireless, free tea and coffee and a small, but convenient business conference room. The rooms are typically Japanese in size, but clean and quiet. This hotel is a very sound choice!

the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful, helping out with directions and information.I was there a couple of days before I realized they did breakfast, and for 620 yen this was great value. It,s a short 5 minute walk from the train and subway stations, so really convenient for trips. I intend to send a thank you note to the staff for going above and beyond in their assistance. all of this helped make this one of if not the best vacation I,ve ever had. john. ps. they have free internet service

perfect hotel for a trip to tokyo
My husband and I traveled to Tokyo for 1 week and searched long until I found this hotel [...]. It got great reviews, so we booked it, and we could not have been happier! The hotel was a couple minutes walk to the main subway line, there were stores and restaurants within walking distance, and the staff speaks very good English. There were specific places we wanted to go and needed to call ahead (we don't speak Japanese...so big problem). Not only did the staff call for us, but they showed us how to get there (the subway/train lines are extremely difficult). Our belongings were always safe in the room, the hotel was always quite, and the staff was extremely welcoming and always willing to help. We've already decided if we visit Tokyo again, we will stay at this hotel. The price was reasonable, and you could not ask for a better location and helpful staff!

Wild Imaginations
At first, it was impossible to imagine!!
When we arrived, we were kinda hesitant at first because the building was 2 blocks away from the train station tucked away off to a side street. We were helped by a stranger who got off the train to walk us to our hotel. When we opened the door to our room, we really cracked up laughing because the double bed was right up to the door. There was no closet, no storage cabinet, no suitcase perch and no clothes line pole. Just a very small desk, 3 hooks attached to the wall and 5 clothes hangers. The bed headliner had some little nooks to hold things but it wasn't very convenient. The bathroom looked like it came out of a motor home. Very compact and had very little space to put a toothbrush and toiletries on. We decided to try and live like the Japanese do and experience this small lifestyle. After a day, we figured that we only needed the room for sleeping and washing. The rest of the time, we were always out and about. So for 3 nights, we slept in it and made due of what we had. It was an experience that will live in our memories. It's not bad but now that we know it, I wouldn't go back. I would spend a little more money and go to a larger facility. NOTE: THERE WAS NOT MUCH TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE HOTEL. THEY DID PROVIDE US A VERY CLEAN ROOM TO SLEEP IN. IT'S JUST SOOO UNAMERICAN BUT SOOO JAPANESE!!! The only good thing was it's location to the train station.

Short walk from hotel
Close to the train station. Some local dining facilities within blocks of the hotel. At night, it's very dark but the main street is only half a block away.

It is a small hotel with about
It is a small hotel with about 20 rooms only. It is close to subway (asakusabashi) and JR station. It is not located in the busiest district so the environment is much relaxing and quiet. It takes about 30 minutes to reach Shinjuku and about 10 minutes to Ueno Park. The staff there are nice, English ability OK. Have free internet access in the room. Although the room is small (a bed, a small desk, a pretty big refrigerator, some space for your luggage, no cabinet), but it is clean and nite. There are a lot of dinning / drinking places near to the stations. There are men (dressed in black suits) standing in the street to get customers. This is the only thing I dislike about the environment. However I must emphasize that they never bother us maybe they only target at men (we are ladies and we looked like tourist) and I do think that this type of "salesperson" are common in Japan....so, never mind... In conclusion, I would recommend this hotel.
