Great Location
This is a hotel located 5 minutes away from Shinjuku train station, this gives you access to the entire Japan. Rooms are clean, small according with american standards but for a single or a couple is enough. All the rooms are non smoking. Staff is friendly by japanese standards, they speak a decent english. You are walking distance to a large number of stores, foreign and japanese brands. Also, there is a variety of restaurants around this hotel. It is okay for the money.

Great location and good value
The location is great, a couple of blocks south of Shinjuku station -- but it's important to have a map printed out or you won't be able to find it (or have the address printed out in Japanese so someone can help you). Rooms are small but it's Tokyo after all.

Really enjoyed our stay
We stayed for 5 nights at the beginning of our trip to Japan. We had a large (for Japan) room with a comfortable bed. Amenities were nice, we had a fridge in the room and LAN. There was a laundry room in the basement (pay) too. The staff was helpful and made restaurant reservations for us. Location is very convenient to Shinjuku station and various shopping etc in Shinjuku - great if you like busy urban areas to see Tokyo going. We'd stay again, definitely!

Sunroute Plaza
This is a decent hotel, but the location makes it extraordinary. Its only two blocks away from Shinjuku Station and central to everything. There is shopping nearby and plenty off restaurants. I will definitely be staying here the next time I am in Tokyo!

Small but big enough
My boyfriend and I spent a week in this hotel and although it was small, it was comfortable. I'm small, 5'2 and he's tall, 6'3 and we got along fine with our luggage. Skip the breakfast; it was horrible. The staff was nice and some were very helpful and some not so much. The internet room wifi connection went in and out so don't rely on that. We ended up buying a tiny wireless router and plugged it in the room. Don't forget to put a password on there! Oh, and most importantly, if you don't want the hassle of taking the train to the hotel from the airport, grab a limo bus-they'll drop you off right in front. Easy!

one night stay
we stayed at this hotel for a longer period of time and returned...this time got an even smaller room (it was for one night). It was not worth the inflated price, even for a Friday eve. Location is great, near Shinjuku Station. Restaurant is overpriced.

Excellent location and service
Located very close to Shinjuku station, which made getting around Tokyo very easy. Staff spoke English very well, and were very helpful with food/shopping suggestions. Best hotel we stayed at during our Japan trip.

Location was perfect, close to
Location was perfect, close to Shinjuku station, but still on the quiet south side (with that said, Tokyo is suprisingly quiet all the time). Note that Google Maps did not get the location right, use the map on the hotel site. The staff at the hotel spoke good english, the rooms were ok in size, always clean, but be sure to book a non-smoking room in berforehand if you want one. We did miss wifi in the room, but the lobby provided free wifi so we were ok. Didn't try the breakfast, but there was a lot of coffeeshops around the block for cheap breakfast. The hotel didn't provide concierge service, but at City Hall, about 5 blocks from the hotel, there's a great, free, observatory on the 45th floor. In the basemant of the same building there's a Turist Information Center that helped us with at trip to Mt. Fuji and Hakone.
