Excellent hotel in central location,
Excellent hotel in central location, free high-speed internet certainly comes in handy. The rooms may be small by Western standards, but are wonderfully appointed. Very helpful reception staff.

the hotel monterey is nicely appointed,
the hotel monterey is nicely appointed, pretty well located in akasaka. it is convenient to the tokyo subway and akasaka's night life. the hotel staff was very nice and very attentive. the lack of english language television, news specifically, was a minor disappointment.
