Established in 1967, the ryokan is a Government Registered Tourist Hotel offering a convenient location, and easy access to public transport and many of Tokyo's tourist attractions. Free public bath is available for 24hours a day. (08/07 YT) A 7 storied modern brown-brick building, from which we can not image traditional Japanese ryokan inside. The traditional accommodation is located on the edge of the Hongo Hill, near downtown Ueno with such well-known sightseeing and shopping places including Ueno Park, Yushima Shrine, and Akihabara Electrical Town.
From Narita International Airport, it is easy to access via Keisei Skyliner Train to Ueno Station. Then, take a short taxi ride (six minutes) to the ryokan. By subway, take the Hanzomon Subway Line, change at Okachimachi station to the Chiyoda Subway Line, and get off at Yushima Station. It is about 5-minuites walk from the station.
