The hotel is one of the Tokyo Disney Resort Good Neighbor Hotels, which provides free shuttle bus services to and from Tokyo Disney Resorts. The 5th floor is home to a luxury 2000 square meter swimming pool with garden terrace and poolside cafe. Out of season this area can be used for weddings or other functions. Further facilities include conference rooms, a business centre, a health club and exhibition hall linked directly to the hotel. (08/08 YT) This is a high-tech, modern hotel. The hotel is located in the cultural Fukagawa district which used to be the residential area for poets and artists. At the same time, it has good access to both Tokyo city centre and Tokyo Disney resort. It takes a 10 minutes subway ride from Otemachi station, which is central station of Tokyo on the Tozai line. The hotel provides free shuttle bus to two nearest stations in the morning. As for access from Narita Airport, airport shuttle bus from/to Narita airport stop at the hotel twice a day. Otherwise guest could take the airport shuttle to Tokyo City Air Terminal(TCAT) and after that 15 minutes taxi ride from the terminal.

Hotel East 21 Tokyo

Spend some days there for business in 2010. Very attentive staff with good English language skills. Good size rooms. Loved the japanese breakfast buffet, but there is also regular western breakfast. Health club is OK, sauna is great. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Mostly non western guests. I just booked it again for another trip.

We chose this hotel for it's proximity

We chose this hotel for it's proximity to Tokyo Disney Resort. East 21 has a free shuttle service to and from Disney Resort so it's very convenient. It is only a few minutes walk to the nearest subway station and the rest of Tokyo is already very accessible from there. Not the best location since everything is a train ride away but good enough. Pricing is a bit high but that is expected of all hotels in Tokyo. I have stayed here before and the room that was given to us on this stay was newer and was painted in lighter colors. The room was not too big nor too small and it was comfortable. The buffet breakfast that was included in the the rate was quite good, great quality food. The staff all spoke English and were very helpful. The hotel also has restaurants just outside of it and convenience stores as well. Will recommend East 21 to others.
