The hotel provides a complimentary bottle of mineral water upon check in. (one bottle per person per stay) It is owned by a governmental foundation whose purpose is to support international cooperation between Asian countries and Japan, but it welcomes tourists from all over the world. This is the best choice for travellers who would like to stay in a hotel in the city centre at low budget. (07/06 HT) It is a 6-storey, modern, grey building. The hotel is located in the centre of metropolitan Tokyo, between Aoyama and Akasaka Area. It takes only 5 minutes to walk from Exit 4 of Aoyama 1-chome station on the Ginza, Hanzomon, and Oedo subway lines, which provide easy access either to Shibuya, Harajuku-Omotesando, Roppongi or Shinjuku. Aoyama Twin Tower Building next to the subway station is a landmark of this area. Residences of some imperial families, the Canadian embassy and the Cambodian embassy are near by. The most famous night spot in Tokyo, Roppongi is just a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

Good location, Good price. Recommended.

Although the room was small, I would recommend this hotel. Included a mini refrigerator and comfortable accomodations. Good ... location within walking distance of many restaurants. Safe neighborhood and close to the subway. Free bottled water, but expensive internet access.

Great upscale shopping (e.g., Givenchy) only a few blocks away opposite the palace grounds.

Great value

The Asia Center is strictly a no-frills hotel, but it has everything that I needed -- small refrigerator in room, pay ... internet, pay tv, even laundry facilities. The hotel was also extremely clean and the staff were friendly and professional, spoke fluent English and tried hard to be as helpful as they could. The hotel was centrally located in an upscale Tokyo neighborhood and getting around was no problem at all (only a few blocks from the subway). There's a buffet breakfast for about $10 that includes both American and Japanese food. I will definitely stay there again when I travel again to Tokyo.
