The hotel features some other facilities include concierge, fitness pool, non smoking floors and variety of banquet rooms. There are many shopping tenants on the public floors, like boutiques, jeweler, drugstore, esthetic salon and flower shop etc. It is a convenient hotel especially for leisure travelers who wish to visit Asakusa district. (01/09 YT) It is a modern, white high rise , 28 storied building. The hotel is located in the heart of Asakusa, one of the oldest and most charming areas of Tokyo which is naturally one of the best sightseeing spots being a few minutes walk from Seonsoji (the Asakusa Cannon Temple) and Nakamise shopping Arcade. An entrance to Asakusa station on Tsukuba Express is just in front of the hotel. Akihabara is just two stops from the nearest subway station. The line also leads passengers directly to Tsukuba Science city in 40minutes.

Daughter and I really like this

Daughter and I really like this hotel, 7 min walk to metro was ok but a bit tiring at the end of a all day sightseeing walk, tea and coffee making facilities great and a grocery store next door/ 3 stories high so has everything one needs, even hot meals at grocery store for takeaway, tasted good, and the views from the hotel, 22nd floor, were fantastic, front views toward the temple better, but our room to the back was also fabulous, clear morning we could see Mt Fuji with snow. Meals in hotel are on the costly side, including coffee and cake etc. so had breakfast first morning very good, plenty of places to eat close by, all fast food stores one or two blocks away. would reccommend this hotel to all.

The reviews of this hotel were

The reviews of this hotel were not accurate as the location was in a rundown area of Tokyo and the standard of the hotel was not as portrayed. I would never return again. The staff provided the minimun service and there was no facility to sit in any public area of the hotel. Decor was old fashioned and cheap. Facilites were poor. It would be classed cheap and cheerful but not worth the price we paid for it. There is better value to be had in Tokyo. Beware. This was our second hotel in Tokyo and far inferior.

Overall the Asakusa View represents

Overall the Asakusa View represents good value. The foyer could be made a little more friendly with better seating for guests and visitors. The local loop buses are a great way to check out the local historic district (and cost just 100 yen).

The rooms in the hotel are a little

The rooms in the hotel are a little tired but the staff are friendly and the facilities good. It is also a good location which is slightly out of the way of the hustle and bustle but it is easy to get to anywhere that you want to see.
