This hotel is well located within
This hotel is well located within a few minutes walk of the railway station, and close to the main tourist sights of Takayama. Our room was of a reasonable size, but was in some need of updating. In particular, the lighting was inadequate, especially the bedside lighting, which seemed to be falling apart. The view from the room was of a TV aerial and ramshackle nearby properties, but the distant mountains could just be seen. Free internet access was provided and there was a laptop provided at reception for free use by clients. Breakfast was very good and good value, with a reasonably wide choice of Japanese and Western dishes. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a good experience. I would be happy to stay here again.

The hotel was a short distance from the train station, which made the location very convenient. The town is not that big but quite charming. The hotel staff was very good but one little mix up with the reservations and we had to show our printed Orbitz reservations, otherwise they thought we had not paid. After this was done, we were fine. The morning breakfast was also good. The four of us enjoyed American food as well as Japanese food.

We ate at a restaurant recommended in The Lonely Planet called Origins. This place was great. The Kobe beef was excellent and chicken was wonderful. The price was very resonable.

Fabulous Breakfasts!
Takayama was out of the way just enough to make it difficult to always come up with cash. Visa was seen as the black plague to many of the small stores. A pity, because I would've bought a lot more souvenirs had I been able to use my credit cards.

위치가 좋고 깨끗했습니다. 역에서 가까워서 다른 곳으로 이동도 좋았구요. 다만 아침메뉴가 조금 부실한 듯한 느낌이었고, 겨울이라 그런 것도 있지만 저녁엔 다소 추웠어요. 온도를 조절하는 장치가 방에 없는지 찾지 못했습니다. 결국 옷을 하나 더 껴입고 있었습니다. 그 외엔 모두 좋았습니다.
