This associate hotel for Universal Studios Japan(TM) overlooks Osaka Bay and has an astounding 1,800 square meter fitness center with exercise room, sauna steam bath, cold/hot plunge pools and Jacuzzis, massage en rooms and a relaxation lounge. Also on site are two pools and loads of shops, restaurants and bars.

Used this hotel as a base to visit Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara. The hotel has a great shuttle service and easy access to the subway system. The adjacent ATC building has many great eating and drinking spots.

One possible problem is their swimming pool. They have a bizarre policy about renting bathing caps and swim suits that they incorrectly blame on Japanese law. (Note you cannot wear anything at all at the nearby Onsen Pools.....).
Being away from the center of Osaka gives this hotel a very relaxed atmosphere---I will return to use it for business.
