Solid Business Hotel
The Hilton Osaka is a very good business hotel. My colleague and I stayed on one of the executive floors and were very impressed with the service we received. The executive lounge was very nice, good dining facilities were available and the fitness center was adequate. The location was also very good, near many shopping and dining options.

I was offered a very small room
I was offered a very small room with queen size bed only when I thought mine should be king size bed? I had stayed in this hotel for many times and I have to say I thought the service standard has not been as good as before.

Excellent hotel in a central location.
Excellent hotel in a central location. We stayed in the executive rooms and enjoyed the free evening drinks, however these executive rooms in other hotels normally include internet access, however this was chargable in this hotel. (It was free in the Hilton Tokyo). The breakfast in the executive lounge was a bit minimal and often ran out of seats and food. Next time I will just stay in the standard rooms and get breakfast in the resturant.

Great Price, great location, wonderful!
The staff was wonderful. We stayed in the Executive Floor and it was terrific. Elevators worked very well! Usually with that many floors, we are waiting a long time. The breakfast options were great. Rooms were very clean and housekeeping were phenomenal. Located near the train station and near the subway.

May 2009 Osaka Trip
The Hotel from an overall standpoint was great. The location was ideal for our trip (close to shopping and the Umeda Train Station). The only negative part of the trip was the restaurant called Checkers. The food was way over priced and the quality was poor. If you ordered waffles for 1350 yen like I did, then all you got was a waffle on a plate. It was described as "Belgian Waffle with Mixed Berries," but the berries served were 3 blueberries and 2 raspberries. Definitely disappointed. In the future, I would recommend skipping the in-hotel restaurant. They cannot compare with the cafes, etc. outside on the streets. I will not make this mistake again.

If arriving at Kansai Airport, take the MTR bus from the airport to Namba and then transfer to the subway. Get off at Umeda if you are going to the Hilton. A cab will cost you around 14,000 yen ($150 USD). The public transit system in Osaka is awesome, once you understand it.
