Served the purpose well.
This was a convenient hotel and served the purpose of the one night layover well. Breakfast was good. I had a business class room which was quite small. Bathroom was very utilitarian (but the heated toilets seats was an interesting surprise). The only minor negatives were that the hairdryer could use an upgrade and there was no wireless interest in the rooms.

Great launching spot
We stayed here before and after a dive trip. It's close to the airport (free shuttles run frequently) and easy to get to Tokyo from. The staff was very helpful with large luggage pieces. The room was a bit too warm, but the windows do open. It was easy to walk to eating places in the evening, and there was a bus to the local mall and downtown Narita (agaiin, free). Loved the heated toilet seat!

NRT Convenience
Arrived NRT too late to catch the bus for Ashikaga, so we stayed here for the night. Got in late & left early. No problems.

Good value, nice grounds, good breakfast
Eight of us stayed one night to decompress before proceeding to Kyoto. Top features for us were the large, well kept grounds, large swimming pools, and a very good (but expensive) breakfast buffet. Rooms were not expensive, and shuttles/highway buses connected well with Tokyo and Narita Airport.

My Nice Stay at the Radisson
While I was at this hotel, I went to see Mt. Fuji and I also saw the Narita-san temple and went to the Aeon mall also in Narita. I only saw Mt. Fuji as that was a hole day trip to and from. I left for Kawaguchi at 11am and got back to my hotel at 11:30 as I had to wait about an hr for a train to move because of an accident somewhere up the line. This hotel had free shuttle bus service to Narita, including the temple and a mall there as of (when I went) May 2011. Since I had been reading that taxi service by Narita is expensive, it was also a huge plus for me that they had free shuttle bus service to and from the airport. You just tell them your airline and they drop you right off where you are supposed to be *be sure to have your passport ready as the bus stops and they check it while you are still on the bus*. There is a highway bus that stops by the front of the hotel and goes to Tokyo station, from which place you can go to a lot of other places I suppose. The last bus back to the hotel from there leaves at 10:20 local time (right on the pavement it has the name of the hotel and that's where you stand to get picked up). All of the transportation in Japan is as prompt as possible, so you need to be as well. Be sure to bring a notebook and a pen just in case you need to ask a question. The people in Japan who don't speak English so well can read and write it so far as I found. I kept track of the names of places and just asked those as a question on the day I had to change trains a bunch on the way to at least see (though I did not climb) Mt. Fuji. I wasn't able to take such good pictures of the mountain but it was awesome even to see from a distance at Kawaguchi. The thing is I would if I had to do it over again just throw myself on the mercy of the Japanese officials at the places where they take your tickets for the trains more and ask right away how to put the tickets into the machines, those places that everyone is walking through (you'll know what I mean when you get there). Cuz I had no idea how to do that. I did do this but the one time I didn't ask for help then the machine ate my ticket cuz I didn't do it right. Be sure to know the words for "excuse me" and "thank you very much" in Japanese as you will be using them a lot. The Japanese people are very helpful, and it is also true that the people at the Radisson know English fairly well and that I was very happy to stay here. You can send postcards from this hotel, as they have lovely postcards available and will also send them with stamps to the U.S. It cost me 70 yen but I was glad. I don't think every hotel has the same good and cheap transportation to and from the airport (free!) but do please schedule your air flight for later in the morning. The earliest ride to the airport was at 7 am and so the earliest they could get you to the airport would be 7:30am as it takes a half an hour to get there. My flight worked out just fine being at 10:27 in the morning from Japan, but really I think that I might have run into trouble if it was a lot sooner. Bring a lot of money already changed or bring money in cash to Japan as Visa is not "everywhere you want to be" in Japan. You will likely find no place where you can use it, and my bank wouldn't allow me to do so as they said there was too much fraud coming from that country. So talk to your bank first and bring money. That's it I suppose. God bless you on your journeys!

Ask the people at the Radisson for directions to wherever you are going and tell them that you want to do something. They gave me very accurate and helpful directions and printed out maps, etc for me with names written down.

We stayed there for two nights.
We stayed there for two nights. My husband and I enjoyed the excellent breakfast. Breakfast is included in the rate and we were aware that normally the price per person is 2200 yen. The hotel provide frequent free shuttle bus to the mall and temple. Very thoughtful. We stayed in one other hotel before and we were required to pay for the shuttle bus. On the way to Singapore, we stayed there for two nights and we were provided with complimentary bottled water but when we returned from Singapore, there was no complimentary bottle water provided. On answering my enquiry, the guest service person indicated that it was because we were provided with an upgraded room - but the room was exactly the same. We did not bother arguing since it does not cost much to get the water ourselves. Anyways, I would certainly go back to this hotel each time when we make a home trip to Singapore.

Short walk from hotel
Go and see the Shinshoji Temple in nearby town; hotel shuttle bus will take you to the train station and it's a nice 15-20 minute walk to the temple.
