This hotel is the largest in Narita. It is ideal for both travellers and those guests in transit. The restaurant on the top floor gives great views of the jumbo jets landing and departing at Narita International Airport. The hotel also provides a shuttle bus service to and from the biggest shopping complex in Narita, taking about 15 minutes. (12/09 YT) The hotel is a brown, round concrete 13-storey building. The hotel name is easily seen from the top of the building. The hotel is located 10 minutes from Narita International Airport and is one of the nearest to the airport. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus to/from the airport and Keisei Narita Station. Narita International Airport is 70km from Tokyo's city centre. It takes one hour by train or 80-120minutes by bus to central Tokyo from Narita International Airport.

A Huge Hotel with 1930's Decor

Enormously large but old airport hotel overrun with huge, noisy tour groups. The decor dates from the early 1930's and badly needs an upgrade. The hotel is right by Narita Airport, its main virtue, and runs frequent shuttle buses to the airport, railroad station, and nearest shopping mall. However, there's nowhere nearby to eat and the hotel restaurants are mediocre and expensive, canceling out the advantage of cheap room prices.

Good value in good location

The Marroad International Hotel in Narita is in a good location and it provides good value. The room was clean and large enough. One big negative is the restaurant/cafeteria. It is very expensive and it provides food that you could get at a fast food place in Japan.

Good value airport hotel in Narita area

Very convenient to transport between the airport and the hotel. Free shuttles to Aeon mall and the airport are provided. The room is in fair conditions, comfy enough for two. Free WiFi is only at lobby. Staffs are very helpful.

Marraod International

This hotel was very nice looking, but it looks like they aren't getting too much business and the upkeep of the grounds surrounding the hotel is neglected. The location of this hotel is far away from the city and I suggest going to Tokyo right after getting to Japan for international travelers. There's nothing to see in Narita. However, the service at the restaurante on the 13th floor was exceptional. I have never been served by anyone so courteous and polite ever like that before.

I don't think there is such a thing as tipping in Japan, but certain places do charge it to the bill if there is something like a tip there.

Close to the airport

The Marroad International Hotel is close to the airport and has a free shuttle to the adjacent town and mall. The hotel is clean, the staff friendly, and the kimonos laid out on the bed incredibly comfortable.

Dreadfull Hotel never stay there

This was at the airport near the lovely village of Narita in Japan. Terrible visit; Hotel staff spoke no English and made attempt for find someone who did. I was put into a smokers room with awfull smell of cigarettes. I took over 1 hour with the hotel staff to get changed to a non smoking room. Very expensive glass of undrinkable wine in the bar on the roof (nice view of the runway) - 800 yen for a small glass of horrible vins de pays. I recommend any travellers to stay in a small hotel in the nearby town of Narita where there are lots of restaurants and bars with great food and cheap prices.

Nice Hotel

The hotel reminded me of a las vegas hotel in a lot of ways but on a much smaller scale. The entry was bright, clean, lots of marble, and ambiance to make it feel big and luxurious. The difference was that it pretty much shut down after about 10pm. Even the AM/PM mini mart in the lobby closed early and didn't open until 7 am. The room was somewhat small but I didn't need a large room for just one person. It had a cool feature I have never seen before, the dual pane window not only had a curtain, but it also had something that looked like closet doors where you could seal out all the light. It was nice for someone like me who needs it dark to sleep. You can control all the lights and AC/heat for the room right from your night stand, so that was pretty cool too. I liked it and would stay there again. Its within walking distance from the exit gate of the Narita airport, so its perfect for long layovers. For those who have not been to Japan, the public restrooms are something interesting to see. There was one facility that I still haven't figured out exactly what it was for. Good luck and enjoy your travels!
