The hotel is nice looking with a traditional Japanese kind of building look but inside is really quite western looking.
The room and shower room are quite spacious and clean. The staffs are friendly and speaks English and Chinese.
It took us
around 15minutes (with a slight uphill slope) on foot to reach the hotel from the Kyoto subway station (not JR).
At night there really isn't much place to go since it is all dark outside the hotel.
