Excellent Value
Upon arrival the the Comfort Inn Nagoya Chiyoda we were greeted courteous, efficient staff who had our reservation on hand and directed us to our room on the ninth floor...the entrance and lobby was nicely appointed...fresh and clean. Upon landing at the ninth floor we noticed that the carpets while clean were spotted and begged for a rug cleaning...no offensive odors however. We noticed upon entering that the exterior and interior could use some fresh paint as there were nicks and scratches on the door frame and door. The carpet was again spotty and in need of cleaning,the room was small, but comfortable and clean. We especially enjoyed the complitary breakfast, which is more than a continental one which included boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, cereal as well as, musubi (riceballs), and sushi, tea and rice, coffee, juice, rolls, toast etc etc...very nice. The location was good, being within walking distance to the Nagoya train station. We were especially pleased with the cost, which was half the cost of our stay in Osaka.
