There are many sightseeing spots pf temples and shrines around here.

- Ryokan is located in the center of the Gion area and very convenient place to go to where.
Dining
- Maiko beer garden (summer only)
- Maiko will visit the roof top beer garden everyday. During hours when Maiko will be in attendance, they will make rounds to each table. Enjoy a pleasant chat and feel free to take pictures with them. At around 8:00pm, the Maiko will perform two kyomai (Kyoto style dance) on our special stage.

While this place is technically
While this place is technically a "ryokan" it has none of the warm hospitality usually associated with such establishments. It also gives one the feeling that if the economy was better they wouldn't accept foreigners at all. The staff are not helpful.I have stayed at minshoku that are better than this. Its location though is excellent.
