Modern panache and style in historic Kyoto
Citadines Kyoto Karasuma-Gojo is an affordable and business-friendly three-star hotel by the Shinkansen district of the fascinating Japanese city of Kyoto. Built in 2010, this ultra-modern hotel provides service and business amenities in superior apartments that are close to many of Kyoto's wonderful cultural attractions, shops, and bars. The hotel also has its own restaurant serving buffet breakfasts (fees apply), and the Gojo area where the hotel is located is full of many inexpensive local restaurants, as well as being a convenient subway stop.

A Great Space
We stayed at the Citadines Kyoto Karasuma-Gojo for four nights. The room was the biggest we had during our trip to Japan and was a lovely, modern space. I would for sure stay here again. My only complaint is that the hotel's dryer isn't very effective, if you plan to do laundry here you should probably hang dry.

Clean hotel in great location!
Not only was this hotel clean and in a great location, but the staff was prepared to answer our EVERY question. They had handouts for restaurants in Kyoto, their price range, hours of operations, etc. They also had handouts for guests on tourist sites and how long it would take to walk to the site. The staff was very friendly and made our experience in Kyoto worthwhile!

elegant hotel
Hotel is very modern, well maintained and exhibits a high level of interior design. Rooms are good size and the small kitchen is a real plus. The only thing that would have made it perfect would have been a location with more restaurant options nearby although location within a block of the subway station made getting to the various sites in Kyoto easy.

good value
the title says it all,for the price i think the hotel is a good value for Kyoto. breakfast could be better for the price the bed was good but the comforter was reaaally too warm and they didn't offer a lighte alternative. The only amenity is the laundromat, little but usefu if you want to save some money. the internet was very fast. Also the location was good, close to a lot of things. this place is for people who are a bit on a budget and want a good bed, clean room, for the right price
