The location and good value for money make this hotel excellent for both sightseeing and business travellers. Business travellers can have access to other necessary office facilities, such as fax and copy services, for a small cost. Guests can enjoy the Yasaka shrine, the Kyoto Shijo Minami-za theatre and the Gion Kobu Kaburenjo theatre, which are all nearby. This area is interesting either by day or by night, and an evening stroll is highly recommended to take in the atmosphere of traditional Kyoto. (0908NN) This modern brown building has a Starbucks cafe on the ground floor, connected with the hotel. A superb location, right in the Gion district of Kyoto, where traditional Kyoto is preserved at its best. This is, in fact, the only urban hotel in the heart of Gion. It is a 4-minute walk from the nearest subway station, Shijo Station, and an ideal location for sightseeing and business.
