Very nice hotel, good location
This hotel is perfect if you want to see Kumamoto Castle, a five-minute walk away, or Suizenji Garden, a ten-minute ride by streetcar from the hotel. Across the street is a large shopping center with many shops, restaurants and department stores. This hotel is also convenient for business travelers as it is close to government and business offices. The view of the castle from our room was beautiful, especially when lit in the evening. Make it a point to request a room with a view of the castle. A bit pricey when we stayed, but we booked at the last minute. Even so, the price was not unreasonable considering the cleanliness, service, and convenience.

Try one of the many small restaurants in the shopping arcade across the street. There are many with good food at reasonable prices.

Great place
The rooms were very clean, bed were comfortable,bathroom was large and nice,staff extremely helpful. The lobby was beautiful, bus stops right next to hotel. Close to lots of shopping.
